  • Publication number: 20230287974
Abstract: There is provided a shaft assembly for use in a dual clutch transmission system to be installed in a power train of a motor vehicle for selectively coupling three rotating transmission members, wherein the shaft assembly extends along a central axis and comprises: a transmission member comprising a first axial end and a second axial end relative to the central axis, wherein the first axial end is configured to be rotatably connected to a shaft part, a bore extending along the central axis from the first axial end in a direction towards the second end, wherein the bore is open at the first axial end and comprises a closed bore end opposite the first axial end, wherein the bore comprises a stepped closed bore end section in which a diameter of the bore decreases stepwise towards the closed bore end.

  • Publication number: 20230265911
Abstract: A dual clutch transmission for a motor vehicle power train for selectively coupling rotating transmission members includes a base assembly, a bearing mounted rotating assembly which is rotatable with respect to the base assembly, first and second torque transmission assemblies movable between disengaged and engaged positions, and first and second actuation mechanisms associated with the first and second torque transmissions assemblies. The actuating mechanisms are arranged for moving the respective torque transmission assemblies between the disengaged and engaged positions for selectively coupling the transmission members. The first torque transmission assembly couples two rotating members in the engaged position. The first actuating mechanism includes a hydraulic actuating mechanism having a piston chamber and a piston for moving the first torque transmission assembly between the disengaged and engaged positions.

  • Patent number: 11293501
Abstract: A powertrain for a vehicle is disclosed that includes an electromagnetic driving unit (10) and a transmission module (20) having a controllable clutch (21) the powertrain further includes a control system to control the electromagnetic driving unit and to control the clutch. The controller has a safety operational mode wherein it controls an engagement of the controllable clutch with a feedback loop in which a desired extent of engagement is positively correlated to a difference between an extent of slip as indicated by the slip indicator and a positive reference value for the extent of slip, wherein the slip indicator indicates the extent of slip with a sign that is the product of the sign of the difference between the rotational speed of the input shaft and a rotational speed of the output shaft and a desired driving torque sign.
