  • Patent number: 6910926
Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic connector terminal. The electronic connector terminal according to the present invention comprises a terminal base material 2 which is formed by punching a thin metal plate and an Au plating layer 17 which covers the terminal base material 2. The terminal base material 2 is defined by a cut surface of the thin plate through punching and comprises a lateral part 4 having at least one contact 6, planer parts 5 defined by front and back faces of a punched-out piece. An Au plate layer 17 on the planer parts 5 has the thickness being thinner than the thickness of an Au plate layer 17 on the lateral part 4 having at least one contact 6.

  • Publication number: 20040201577
Abstract: An input element is used to make inputs to a computer having a touch-pad responsive to changes of static capacity. The input element has a conductive pad contact part which contacts in face-to-face manner to the touch-pad. The pad contact part is pivotally connected to a grip part so that the contact face always makes the contact face contacted to a surface of the touch-pad. Also provided is an input method using the aforementioned input element.

  • Patent number: 6466452
Abstract: The present invention provides a socket 10 which has a housing 20 having a slot 22 for receiving one edge 13 of a daughter board 11 on which terminal portions 12 are mounted, and contacts provided within the slot and pressed against respective terminals of the daughter board 11. From both sides of the housing, latches 31 extend toward the opening direction of the slot. When the daughter board is pressed down against the urging force of the contacts, the latches engage with both side edges 16 of the daughter board. At the position shifted from the center of the edge of the daughter board toward either side edge, a notch 14 is provided, and at the corresponding position of the slot of the housing, a projection for positioning to be fitted in the notch is formed, and at least one side of the projection for positioning, an elastic member 40 for pressing it against the inner side wall of the notch of the daughter board is provided.

  • Patent number: 6045407
Abstract: An electrical connector having a housing with electrical part-receiving slots at both sides of the housing, to each of which each of two pieces of electrical parts would be inserted so that the both faces of the electrical parts would be reverse to each other. On the inner walls of the electrical part-receiving slots of the housing, retaining grooves are formed in a predetermined distance, and each retaining groove is provided with a common terminal which is connected to a wiring common to the two pieces of the electrical parts, a first independent terminal and a second independent terminal which are connected to different wirings for each electrical part. According to this electrical connector, not only two pieces of electrical parts can be inserted, but also wirings common to the electrical parts can be connected all together to a packaging board and the height of installation on the packaging board can be suppressed low.
