    Abstract: Apparatus and method for charging electrical storage batteries including an electrical source providing a forward flow of charging current of selected value and cyclical wave generator for cycling current flow to the battery, where flow of current to the battery, is periodically terminated and a flow path is provided to allow reverse current flow from the battery for a period of time less than 25% of the period during which forward current flow occured.
