Abstract: A system for providing automatically collecting data relating to information resources in a computerized environment. The system in a descriptive embodiment, the system collects data regarding the information in the storage device. The system examines the information resources, both as it is developed and prior to the installation of the system. Data is extracted and organized. Explicit and inferred relationships are determined about the information resources.

The system of this preferred embodiment is able to determine relationships between information resources by both explicit means through similarities in characteristics and content of the information resources and by inferring relationships by other similarities, including but not limited to indirect data, observations, attributes, assumptions and other means.
Abstract: A system for collecting information regarding user activity in a computerized environment. The system in a descriptive embodiment, activity focus of the user is inferred. Then data is retrieved regarding the activity of the user. The system monitors the events occurring due to the interaction of the user and the computer system. Thus, the system is able to determine when the user changes activity focus.
