The apparatus may determine a duration of pressing a button of an input device based on a signal associated with the button. To determine the duration of pressing the button, the apparatus may calculate the duration based on a start time and an end time. The start time may be a first time instance at which the button is pressed and the end time may be a second time instance at which the pressed button is released. The apparatus may classify the press force applied on the button of the input device into a category of a plurality of categories based on the duration. The apparatus may adjust a parameter of a feedback corresponding to the press force based on the category. The apparatus may control the feedback based on the parameter.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, a gaming controller for a mobile device includes a first hardware gaming controller configured to be manipulated by a user's left thumb and/or fingers to generate a left controller input; and a second hardware gaming controller configured to be manipulated by a user's right thumb and/or fingers to generate a right controller input. The first hardware gaming controller is mechanically securable to a side portion of a housing, and the second hardware gaming controller is mechanically securable to an opposing side portion of the housing. One of the first hardware gaming controller and the second hardware gaming controller is a primary game controller configured to combine the left controller input and the right controller input into a single controller input representation for providing to the mobile device.

Abstract: In one aspect, a computer mouse is provided. The computer mouse may include an accelerometer sensor configured to measure vibrations of the computer mouse during a mouse gliding action and a motion sensor configured to measure the speed of the computer mouse during the mouse gliding action. The gliding performance of the computer mouse may be analyzed based on the measured vibrations and the measured speed of the computer mouse. In another aspect, a method and an apparatus for mouse gliding performance analysis are provided. The apparatus may measure vibrations of a computer mouse using an accelerometer sensor during a mouse gliding action. The apparatus may measure the speed of the computer mouse using a motion sensor during the mouse gliding action. The apparatus may analyze the gliding performance of the computer mouse based on the measured vibrations and the measured speed of the computer mouse.

Abstract: Some examples include detecting that a source computing device is in proximity to a target computing device. For instance, a user credential of the source computing device may be received from the source computing device. Further, a copy of system data of the source computing device may be retrieved from a cloud storage service. A system state of the source computing device may be restored on the target computing device by using the user credential received from the source computing device and the copy of the system data of the source computing device retrieved from the cloud storage. In some cases, the user credential may expire on the target computing device after a predetermined system event in the target computing device.
