Abstract: Disclosed are devices which generate a mist of a treatment composition, viz, an aerosolized treatment composition which imparts a technical benefit to surfaces, or airspaces, which come into contact with the said aerosolized treatment composition. Also disclosed are methods for the treatment of surfaces utilizing the devices of the invention.

Abstract: Disclosed is an applicator for an adhesive lavatory treatment composition. The applicator comprises a quantity of an adhesive lavatory composition, a piston part moveably engageable with a base part, wherein the piston part includes a piston plate and a grip element, the base part includes an upper cavity, and a lower cavity, wherein the piston plate is fitted within the upper cavity of the base part and is moveable within the upper cavity of the base part. The applicator may be a single use applicator adapted to dispense only a single dose of an adhesive lavatory treatment composition, or may be a multi-use applicator which may be refilled and reused to deliver plural doses of an adhesive lavatory treatment composition.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition in the form of a tablet including a first portion and a second portion, wherein said first portion includes guaifenesin having an immediate release profile and a second drug having a sustained release profile, and wherein the second portion includes guaifenesin having a sustained release profile. The second drug can be in the form of a drug-resin complex. The second drug can be either an anti-tussive or a decongestant. The drug-resin complex includes a drug complexed to an ion exchange resin. The ion exchange resin can be a polystyrene sulfonate resin, polacrilex resin, polacrilin potassium, cholestyramine resin, or a colestyramine resin. The drug-resin complex can be provided with a coating, the coating thickness being selected to obtain the desired release profile. The drug-resin complex can be provided with a coating level of from 5% to 50%. The coating level can be from 10% to 35%.
