Abstract: An exercise machine includes a resistance device and vertical members extending from a base. A moveable section mounted to the vertical members moves vertically along the vertical members and horizontally towards or away from a user. Additional vertical members, which are located outside the vertical members, extend from the base, and accommodate functional training devices which facilitate three-dimensional exercise movements by the user. Each functional training device includes pulleys which accommodate a cable mechanically linked to the resistance device and extending between the pulleys to a cable termination device.

Abstract: A handle for a rowing machine is provided. The handle has a cursor control device which accepts user input. A processor is in electronic communication with the cursor control device and an electronic display. An electronic storage device comprises executable software instructions, which when executed, configure the processor to receive user input from the cursor control device and move the cursor on a graphical user interface (“GUI”) in response to the received user input or update the GUI based on user input.

Abstract: An exercise machine may include a box rack and at least one functional training device secured to the box rack and connected to at least one resistance device. The box rack may be comprised of a number of base members, vertical members, and upper members. A first functional training device may be mounted to a first vertical member in a slidable arrangement. A second functional training device may be mounted to a second vertical member in a slidable arrangement. A third functional training device may be located on an upper portion of the box rack. A fourth functional training device may be located on a lower portion of the box rack.

Abstract: An exercise machine for performing a leg press exercise includes a resistance device and a plate configured to receive a user's feet during the leg press exercise. An adjustable resistance attachment device is mechanically coupled to the plate and is be selectively coupled to an adjustable resistance attachment device. One or more cables mechanically couple the adjustable resistance device to the resistance device to define a resistance ratio. Attachment of the adjustable resistance device to the adjustable resistance attachment device results in an increase of the resistance ratio for the machine.

Abstract: An exercise machine includes a first and second vertical member extending from a base section. A moveable section is mounted to the first and second vertical members and is moveable vertically along the first and second vertical members as well as horizontally. A third and fourth vertical member also extend from the base section. A first and second functional training device are mounted to the third and fourth vertical members, respectively, and are selectively securable at various locations along the same. At least one cable connects a resistance device to the moveable section as well as to the functional training devices.

A carriage is carried by the side floor frames and is movable simultaneously vertically and front to back. The carriage retains a weight bar mount for retaining a weight bar spanning between each side frame. The weight bar is movable by the carriage vertically and front to back. The movable carriage also carries a pair of vertical weight rack bars. An engagement mechanism enables the weight lifter to rack the weight bar from a weight lifting position without stepping forward or backward.

The longitudinal axis rotation of the rod within the rod sleeve allows for the freedom of motion found in the free weight lifting motion. The weight bar slide assemblies attached to opposing ends of the weight bar may move linearly along the vertical guide bar independently of each other.
