Patent number: 9785895Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods for tracking service representative activity and data. Service representatives are equipped with handheld devices that are configured to execute question and instruction sequences during a service call. Worksheets containing such surveys and instruction sequences may be periodically transmitted to the handheld device from a backend server. The handheld device records the times at which the service representative enters and exits a retail location and the times at which particular tasks are started and completed. The worksheets allow service representatives to enter relevant data into the handheld device. Such data may include digital images, signatures and the like. All data collected at the handheld devices may be transmitted via a network or other communication link to a secure backend server, where it stored in a database and made available for query by a reporting module.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2013Date of Patent: October 10, 2017Assignee: REFLEXIS SYSTEMS, INC.Inventors: Stan Hawkins, Joe Maranville, Nick Steele

Patent number: 9264485Abstract: A method and system for synchronizing and prioritizing messages from separate systems includes receiving a message from a computer network having a unique identifier. Next, this message having the unique identifier may be compared to at least one of a rule and a formula stored in a database. If the message with the unique identifier matches at least one of a rule and a formula stored in the database based on the unique identifier, then the message may be supplemented with an action identifier. Subsequently, the message may be prioritized relative to one or more other messages based on at least one of a source identifier and the action identifier. The message may then be transmitted to a notifier. The notifier may relay the message over the communications network to at least one of an application content provider (ACP) and/or a target application upon receiving a request for transmitting messages.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2012Date of Patent: February 16, 2016Assignee: Reflexis Systems, Inc.Inventors: Sundar Ranganathan, Murtaza Ghadyali, Stan Hawkins, Arun Santhanam

Patent number: 8978096Abstract: A system and method transfers information relating to quality or standards of an organization from a server to a wireless handheld computing device and from the wireless handheld computing device to the server in real-time or near real-time. Each member of an organization can have the same policies and procedures as soon as any of the policies and procedures are updated. The inventive system can allow an organization to also measure compliance and conformance with the distributed policies and procedures. With the handheld computing devices, each member of an organization can complete tests that are closely tied to the distributed policies and procedures. The results of these tests can be transmitted in real-time or near real-time from the handheld computing devices to a central computer server so that an organization can track current performance of all its members relative to the policies and procedures and relative to each other.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2013Date of Patent: March 10, 2015Assignee: Reflexis Systems Inc.Inventor: Stan Hawkins

Patent number: 8135611Abstract: Efficient and effective centralized management of automated field force installation and evaluation of assets. Service representatives can each perform an asset installation and/or an asset evaluation with the aid of a handheld device. The handheld device can display worksheets comprising a sequence of instructions and prompts related to the installation/evaluation. In performing the asset installation/evaluation, the service representative can follow the instructions and enter responses to the prompts into the handheld device. The handheld device can communicate with a server to download the worksheets onto the handheld device and to upload from the handheld device data related to the installation/evaluation. Authorized users' network devices can interact with a reporting module of the server to generate reports based on the uploaded data.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 2011Date of Patent: March 13, 2012Assignee: Reflexis Systems, Inc.Inventors: Stan Hawkins, Thomas Swiedler, Charles Turner

Patent number: 8100325Abstract: A system and method of providing relevant sales context information that would enable vendors to reduce cost of operations, increase productivity of their mobile sales forces, and drive improved efficiencies throughout. Mobile sales force representatives can utilize a handheld computing device for reviewing relevant customer sales information prior to a sales visit; for training and other purposes during a sales visit; and inputting new customer sales information during or after a sales visit, which can then be uploaded to a server over a wireless network for future use. The handheld device can communicate with a server to download the customer information onto the handheld device and to upload from the handheld device current customer information data obtained from a customers sales visit to a server. The server can transmit the current customer information data to multiple sales force representatives who can utilize that information in the sales environment.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2010Date of Patent: January 24, 2012Assignee: Reflexis Systems, Inc.Inventor: Stan Hawkins

Patent number: 8028039Abstract: An asynchronous, middleware system positioned between a larger computer system and a wireless mobile hand-held computer anticipates the needs of a wireless mobile hand-held computer that is served by the middleware system. The middleware system can anticipate and process needs for a mobile hand-held computer when the hand-held computer is not “synchronized” with a larger computer network. The middleware system can be designed to prepare information for downloading from a larger computer system to a wireless mobile hand-held computer well in advance of a communication link while the hand-held computer is not “synchronized” with the larger computer network. The middleware system can provide a network architecture that is very durable, scaleable, and flexible to serve hundreds and thousands of wireless mobile hand-held computers.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2005Date of Patent: September 27, 2011Assignee: Reflexis Systems, Inc.Inventor: Stan Hawkins
