Patent number: 5158170Abstract: A vibratory apparatus including a vibratory feedbowl, a circuit for providing impulses, and a manually adjustable controller connected to the impulse circuit for providing a controlled conductance path to the impulse circuit to controllably vibrate the feedbowl. An improved controller includes a sensor connected to the vibratory feedbowl for providing a signal proportional to the actual amplitude of the feedbowl. A set point control provides a desired amplitude signal for the feedbowl. An automatic controller connected to the sensor and the set point control provides a control signal proportional to the difference between the desired amplitude and the actual amplitude. An override circuit connecting the automatic controller to the manually adjustable controller provides an override conductance path to the impulse circuit proportional to the control signal to vibrate the feedbowl at approximately the desired amplitude.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 1991Date of Patent: October 27, 1992Assignee: Resinoid Engineering CorporationInventors: Walter M. Patent number: 4920633Abstract: A commutator shell suitable for receiving a molded commutator core is fabricated by providing an elongated ribbon of electrically conductive material. The ribbon is passed through a set of rollers to form a plurality of relatively shallow preliminary grooves of a given width longitudinally on one side of the ribbon to partially displace the conductive material. The ribbon is passed through a subsequent set of rollers to form the preliminary grooves to a full depth and to completely displace the material to a width substantially equal to that of the preliminary grooves to form the predetermined pattern of grooves between adjacent ribs. The ribbon is passed through a further set of rollers to form valleys in the tops of the ribs and to divide the ribs into dove-tailed cross-sections overhanging adjacent grooves.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 1988Date of Patent: May 1, 1990Assignee: Resinoid Engineering CorporationInventor: Thaddeus Wojcik

Patent number: 4890377Abstract: A commutator assembly includes a core of insulating material surrounded by a plurality of commutator segments. A disk-like riser plate is molded at one end of the commutator with slots for receiving and holding the coil ends of an appropriate motor armature in engagement with respective ones of the commutator segments. Outwardly flared walls are molded on the side of the riser plate facing the armature, the walls diverging toward the slots for guiding the coil ends into the slots.Type: GrantFiled: February 29, 1988Date of Patent: January 2, 1990Assignee: Resinoid Engineering CorporationInventor: Howard A. Patent number: 4831717Abstract: A commutator alignment fixture includes a cylindrical bore having a plurality of axial circumferentially spaced blades extending inward from a side wall thereof. The circumferential spacing of the blades is determined according to the circumferential spacing of longitudinally extending, circumferentially spaced slots in a commutator wherein the alignment fixture blades coact with the commutator slot to axially slidably support the commutator in known circumferential orientation to the armature winding and core location when the commutator assembly is press-fit onto an armature shaft so that the commutator slots are in circumferential orientation with respect to the slots on the armature.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1987Date of Patent: May 23, 1989Assignee: Resinoid Engineering CorporationInventors: Richard A. Patent number: 4458547Abstract: An improved non-metallic sprocket, such as the phenolic laminate type, one improvement consisting of sprocket teeth molded from continuous layers of material laminated in a corrugated, sprocket tooth forming construction about the periphery of the sprocket. Another improvement consists of the inclusion of a non-metallic hub fashioned from a length of resin pre-impregnated material, in particular, fiberglass cloth, wound into a tube. During the molding of the sprocket the layers of material forming the tube are laminated into a solid hub.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 1981Date of Patent: July 10, 1984Assignee: Resinoid Engineering CorporationInventor: Paul E. Patent number: 3974969Abstract: A comminuting and/or mixing machine having a plurality of alternately aligned blades each one having plural step-like leading edges lying in a plane angularly disposed to the direction of movement of the blades. The angular disposition of the step-like edges, the relative orientation of the plural blades, the length and spacing of the blades and the speed of rotation of the unit produces a combined chopping, grinding and mixing of the materials resulting in a product of controlled particle size and of intimately mixed conglomerate.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 1974Date of Patent: August 17, 1976Assignee: Resinoid Engineering CorporationInventor: Clarence A.
