Patents Assigned to Rexnord Kette GmbH & Co KG
  • Patent number: 5759304
Abstract: In a process for producing hot rolled steel strip with adjusted strength a steel with 0.04 to 0.06% carbon, at most 1% silicon, at most 1% manganese, 13 to 18% chromium, at most 2% nickel, balance carbide formers and iron, inclusive of impurities due to melting, is melted, the actual content of carbide formers within the specified limits is determined, a rolling oversize for a subsequent hot rolling is established in dependence on the actual content of carbide formers, and the hot rolled strip is solution annealed at a temperature of 920.degree. to 1050.degree. C. and quenched to a ferritic-martensitic structure and cold rolled down to the specified final thickness.

  • Patent number: 5131960
Abstract: By solution-annealing and water-quenching of a hot-rolled ferritic chromium steel comprising 0.03 to 0.07% carbon, not more than 1% silicon, not more than 1% manganese, 13 to 18% chromium, not more than 2% nickel, balance iron and impurities arising from melting, a ferritic martensitic microstructure can be obtained to achieve high strength, hardness and toughness.

  • Patent number: 4958726
Abstract: The stability and robustness of a curved apron conveyor comprising a plurality of plate members, engaging with one another at their adjacent side edges with hinge eyes, connected to one another by way of hinge pins and having guiding surfaces cooperating with stationary guide rails, is improved by arranging the guiding surfaces off-center of the plate members in relation to the conveying direction.

  • Patent number: 4823939
Abstract: A chain conveyor which moves along a curved path comprises a conveyor chain (1) formed of plate links (3), which are hinged to each other, and a track (2) on which the links (3) slide. The track (2) is made of plastics material in which a magnetic strip (6) is embedded. The strip (6) is made of magnetic powder bonded with plastics material and the remainder of the track (2) has ferromagnetic powder incorporated in it. The links (3) are ferromagnetic and thus a magnetic field passes through the track (2) and the link (3) to hold the conveyor chain (1) in contact with the track (2) especially where the track is curved. Where the track is curved the magnetic strip (6) is preferably at the outside of the curve.

  • Patent number: 4747261
Abstract: A load transmitting chain (1) comprises a series of links each formed by a number of link plates (2) arranged side by side and meshing with the link plates of the adjacent link to which they are pivotally connected by link pins (4). The chain is intended for use in transmitting force from a hydraulic cylinder having a piston rod, for example in a fork-lift truck. To avoid damage to the piston rod by contact of the links (2), which are of steel, with it, the chain is provided with a row of additional protective link plates (5) which are sandwiched between the link plates (2) and have projecting portions (11). The protective link plates (5) are made of plastics material and the projecting portions (11) act as buffers so that they come into contact with the piston rod without causing damage and prevent direct contact between the steel link plates (2) and the piston rod.
