  • Patent number: 8196349
Abstract: The lifting window (15) has a windowpane (17) which can be raised and lowered by means of a lifting device and which is guided here by two guide rails (24; 25). In the region of at least one side edge (19), the windowpane (17) is guided, at a point remote from the lifting device, only indirectly by the associated guide rail (24) by means of an adjusting device (38). The adjusting device (38) has a guide strip (39) which interacts with the associated guide rail (24). The guide strip (39) is guided by means of a guide device (41) so as to be moveable at least approximately perpendicularly to the windowpane (17). Said guide strip (39) can be adjusted relative to the windowpane (17) by means of an adjustment device (42) and can be fixed in the desired relative position by means of a fixing device.

  • Publication number: 20080265599
Abstract: A motor vehicle trim assembly has a holding body with a receiving groove. The holding body can be fixed in a material-uniting manner to a motor vehicle rear window in an upper window edge region facing the vehicle interior or on a trim part in an upper trim part edge region facing the vehicle interior by means of an adhesion promoter layer. A trim part of the trim assembly is inserted with a rear window-side rim region or the motor vehicle rear window is inserted with a trim-side rim region into the receiving groove. A trim assembly of this type and a motor vehicle assembly also comprising the rear window avoids the visual impression of the visible side of the motor vehicle being limited by visible fastening elements for the trim part.

  • Patent number: 6546683
Abstract: The window unit (20) has a window (21) and a frame (22) which is integrally formed on the window (21). Retaining devices (24) for retaining add-on parts (23) are provided at a plurality of peripheral locations of the frame (22). Each retaining device (24) is formed by a retaining strip (28) and a retaining clip (29). The retaining strip (28) is arranged on the outside of the frame (22) and permanently bonded thereto, for example partially formed therein. The retaining clips (29) have an elongate basic body, on the two longitudinal sides of which both retaining wings and latching wings are provided. The retaining wings serve for releasably anchoring the retaining clips (29) on the retaining strips (28). The latching wings serve for releasably connecting the add-on part (28) [sic] to the frame (22).

  • Patent number: 6287402
Abstract: In the processes for the production and installation of a pane of glass with a frame, in particular on a vehicle part, the frame is produced as a plastics molding in the form of a closed ring. In these processes, a first bearing surface for the pane of glass and an adhesive bonding surface for the application of an adhesive are formed integrally on one side of the frame, and a second bearing surface for placing against the vehicle part is formed integrally on one of the other sides of the frame. In addition, either a retaining element running around along the frame or a number of anchoring elements or a second adhesive bonding surface for the application of a second adhesive are formed integrally on one of the other side of the frame. The frame may first of all be connected permanently to the pane of glass using an adhesive and then connected removably or permanently to the vehicle part together with the pane of glass by the retaining element or the anchoring elements or the second adhesive.
