  • Patent number: 7712725
Abstract: A drain valve assembly having a stem which can be inserted into a crankcase or other fluid reservoir, wherein the stem is connected to a housing which encloses a sealing barrel movably secured and sealed in the connected stem and housing, and wherein the sealing barrel can be manipulated in a single direction from the exterior of the assembly to open or close a fluid passage through the assembly. An end cap may also be provided tethered to the housing for sealing off the fluid passage. Selected movement of the sealing barrel in the connected stem and housing may also be used to control the volume and flow of fluid through the fluid passage.

  • Patent number: 7515806
Abstract: This invention provides a cable guide (10) capable for securely routing a plurality of cables (C), such as fiber optic cables (C). The cable guide has at least two fastening units (12), an optional guide unit (14), and a flexible connector (16) for providing a spaced apart connection for the units, and the space (17) may be utilized for exiting one or more cables (C) from a bundle of cables restrained by the cable guide (10). The invention also includes supports or standoffs and joinder clips for securing and routing cable guides on a chassis, printed circuit board or other surface, as desired.

  • Patent number: 7379293
Abstract: A multiple split ring clamp for securing a printed circuit board on a cathode ray tube, in which the clamp first split ring has overlapping jaws and teeth on each end of the jaws, wherein the jaws and teeth are adapted to engage and hold the clamp on the cathode ray tube, and wherein the clamp has a second ring and stand-off which is adapted for removably securing a printed circuit board on but spaced apart from the first ring and cathode ray tube. The first split ring may be connected to but independent from the second ring and standoff so that movement of the clamp will not affect the position of the stand-off.

  • Patent number: 7303220
Abstract: A connector tool for holding a cable connector, such as a fiber optic or similar connector, for coupling and/or decoupling the connector into or from a connector port in an area having a high density of connector ports. The connector tool comprises a sleeve and a gripper, wherein the gripper has fingers that form a slot for engaging the connector. The fingers are drawn into the sleeve to form a compartment in interlocking engagement with the connector. In one embodiment, the connector tool can handle a SC fiber optic cable connector. In another embodiment, the connector tool can handle an electrical cable connector. The tool also may have a slot for receiving the cable connected to the connector. The method for holding a cable connector using the tool during coupling and decoupling of the connector into or from a connector port is also shown.

  • Patent number: 5814767
Abstract: A coilable length of insulating material adapted to be set up for forming a duct to contain wire-like members extending along its length, wherein the length has a plurality of spaced apart longitudinally extending scores, the space between the scores defining top and bottom and side walls of the duct, and a adhesive strip arranged along the length for securing the walls of the duct set up when connected between at least two of the walls. A wall overlying the top wall may be adhesively secured to it for securing the duct in set up position. The length may be cut to any desired length. The length may also have another adhesive strip along one of the walls for securing the set up duct to a selected surface. The duct may be mitered by cutting it laterally for tracking corners and non-planar surfaces. The invention also relates to the method for making and setting up such a duct.
