Abstract: A composition for coating a metal-working tool to increase tool life, comprising graphite, molybdenum disulphide or other solid lubricant in an aqueous binder solution comprising a phosphate of aluminium, magnesium, zinc, calcium or other metal and preferably a chromate or dichromate as well.
