  • Patent number: 8096293
Abstract: A liquid-heating system has a solar energy collector exposed to solar radiation, a geothermal heat exchanger buried in the ground at a depth between 0.5 m and 5 m, a heater through which a liquid to be heated passes, and a heat pump having a sink side connected to the heater and a source side connected to the geothermal heat exchanger or to the solar energy collector. A first controller or valve setup connected to the heat collector can in one position connect the solar energy collector to the water heater such that heat collected by the solar energy collector is applied to the water heater. In another position it can connect the solar energy collector to the geothermal heat exchanger such that heat collected by the solar energy collector is applied to the ground surrounding the geothermal heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 6550628
Abstract: A grid has crossing grid bars, wherein the first grid bars extending in a first direction are made of an open profile having outwardly bent-away borders positioned in a common plane and wherein the second grid bars extending in a second direction are made of the same open profile as the first grid bars or of a closed profile having at least one planar profile wall. The first grid bars and the second grid bars are positioned relative to one another such that the bent-away borders rest against one another or that the bent-away borders of the first grid bars rest against the planar profile wall of the second grid bars and are connected to one another on the contact surfaces. The grid forms a wall of a cage for receiving a plastic container of a palette container for storing and transporting substances.

  • Publication number: 20030024935
Abstract: A bottom of a basket or sheet metal container for receiving a plastic container of a combination pallet container for storing and transporting goods forms an upper part of a pallet having at least one transverse bar for supporting the bottom. The bottom has a rectangular bottom surface and an upwardly curved portion forming a rim area. The bottom surface has a depression in front of a center of a first rectangle side of the rectangular bottom surface. The bottom surface has a descending plane descending from a second rectangle side of the rectangular bottom surface positioned opposite the first rectangle side toward the depression and having a lower end adjoining the depression. The bottom surface has two ascending planes adjoining the descending plane on opposed sides of the depression and ascending toward corners of the rectangular bottom surface located on opposite ends of the first rectangle side ends.
