Abstract: Contextual search by a mobile communications device is described. In an implementation, a search query is a received and a context is detected of a user interface currently being displayed on a display device of a mobile communications device. One or more search results are displayed on a display device of a search performed in the detected context using the search query.

Abstract: The systems, methods, and computer program products described herein provide for the streaming data from a server to a client without the use of a container. The server receives, from the client, a request for data. In response, the server prepares and sends metadata to the client describing the requested data. The server then wraps one or more frames of the requested data for transmission to the client. In an embodiment, the wrapping process includes the appending of header data to the one or more frames. The header data includes a frame size field, a stream identifier field, and a presentation timestamp (PTS) field.

One embodiment of the invention includes building an object model of interactive multimedia content authored for distribution via a physical medium using a content authoring system, automatically authoring a user interface based upon the object model using the content authoring system, and packing the transcoded multimedia content into at least one container file.

Abstract: Systems and methods for electronic sell-through (EST) of multimedia content authored for distribution via physical media in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. One embodiment of the invention includes building an object model of interactive multimedia content authored for distribution via a physical medium using a content authoring system, automatically authoring a user interface based upon the object model using the content authoring system, packing the multimedia content into at least one container file, and electronically distributing at least a portion of the authored user interface and the at least one container file via a network connection.
