Said device comprises a conveying unit that defines a direction of travel and has a conveying surface. The device also comprises an application unit including an application nozzle which has a slit-shaped outlet extending substantially transverse to the direction of application and which allows the first surface region made of a first extrudate and the second surface region made of a second extrudate to be extruded onto the conveying surface. The application nozzle (8) comprises at least one conveying unit (22; 22?) for conveying an extrudate onto the conveying surface. The conveying unit allows the conveyed volume, the conveyed mass, the conveying speed, and/or the conveying time of at least one of the extrudates to be controlled.

Abstract: The invention relates to an adherable material composite having a large-area extent, a composite face, which extends in a first direction and in a second direction running substantially perpendicular to the first direction, and having a composite thickness extending in a third direction which runs substantially perpendicular to the composite face, wherein the material composite is formed from a first composite region and at least a second composite region which adjoins the first composite region at least in certain portions, and wherein the second composite region has adhesive properties, such that the material composite is adherable, in particular redetachably adherable, to a surface of a body by way of the composite face.

Abstract: In a method for applying a multiplicity of discrete spots of adhesive, distributed over a surface area, permanently to a substrate (3), reduced formation of threads of adhesive is achieved by a rotating applicator head that bears a pattern of openings around its circumference being moved in a direction of application (11) at a lateral distance from and in relation to the surface of the substrate that is to be permanently provided with the pattern, the adhesive is forced out of the openings (2) in the applicator head in the region of a linear or strip-like spacing gap (0) formed between the substrate and the applicator head to form lenticular blobs (4B), the blobs of adhesive are brought into contact with the substrate in the region of the spacing gap, without the applicator head thereby touching the substrate, and the blobs of adhesive are pulled away from the respective openings while becoming attached to the substrate and forming spots of adhesive (4) on the substrate.
