Abstract: The present invention relates to an elastic joint body 10 for a shaft arrangement for the articulated connection of two shaft sections, comprising a plurality of bushings 14 which are arranged in the circumferential direction in predetermined angular distances with respect to a centre axis M of the joint body 10, a plurality of loop bundles 18, 20, 22, 24, with each loop bundle 18, 20, 22, 24 looping around two neighbouring bushings 14 and each bushing 14 being looped around by at least two loop bundles 18, 20, 22, 24, one of which may be subjected to a tensile load in the case of a torque transmission via the shaft sections, and the other one may be subjected to a thrust load, a support device 26 which is arranged on at least one bushing 14 for axially guiding the plurality of the loop bundles 18, 20, 22, 24, and a rubber-elastic casing 12 into which the loop bundles 18, 20, 22, 24, the support devices 26 and the bushings 14 are at least partially embedded.
