Abstract: A method for referencing and interconnecting contents, applications and metadata to an audiovisual content is described, especially for iTV of for distribution on DVD, which comprises the step of inserting a digital watermark into the audiovisual content during an audiovisual content encoding step, the digital watermark being possibly used for allowing a user to reproduce or exploit additional contents supplementing those provided by the audiovisual content, wherein the digital watermark is inserted into the audiovisual content as data frame with header and body by subdividing it into a plurality of consecutive ‘I’ frames and forcing the parity of LSBs of mid-frequency providing an auxiliary watermark channel, e.g. in an MPEG2 transport stream.

Abstract: Wind Energy Converting Systems (WECS) fitted with anti-icing systems are made by using the method according to the invention in the following steps: a) prearranging a wind rotor with blades (5), an anti-icing system, and means (50, 51) for adjusting the anti-icing system; b) installing the prearranged rotor of the WECS on a test site; c) carrying out at least one operation test of the WECS; d) detecting parameters useful for determining the presence or absence of ice on the outer surface (5E) of the blades (5). If the detected parameters do not meet a predetermined target function, the method comprises additional steps of: e) performing an adjustment through said adjustment means (50, 51); repeating the previous steps from c) to e) until no ice is detected on the outer surface (5E) of the blades (5).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for allowing a user to access the Internet. A user sends an Internet access request through a first Organization's gateway and supplies to the latter some credentials for his/her authentication with a second Organization. The credentials provided contain at least one piece of information about the second Organization. The first Organization contacts the second Organization for the purpose of authenticating the user and granting him/her access to the Internet. The second Organization then gives the user the authorization to access the Internet. According to the invention, upon the access request the gateway redirects the user to a web page of the second Organization, where the user supplies to the second Organization, through the web page, further authentication credentials required for his/her identification.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for detecting the risk of icing on aerodynamic surfaces lapped by a fluid flow (F), in particular on load-bearing surfaces of fluid machines, of the type comprising a temperature sensor (20). The system is characterized in that the temperature sensor (20) is located close to the aerodynamic surface (5S) to be monitored for detecting the temperature of the surface (5S), and that the system comprises a rain sensor (30) located close to the surface (5S) for detecting the presence of water on said surface (5S). The system can thus detect the risk of icing on aerodynamic surfaces in a very effective, simple and inexpensive manner.
