Abstract: A motor wheel for driving the driving wheel of an industrial vehicle and the like, comprising upstream of a two-stage rotary-ring reduction unit, a gearbox with fixed-ring epicyclic gear train, with at least two positions which respectively correspond to the high or travel speed and to the low or working speed. A parking brake is further provided downstream of the gearbox with respect to the motion input.

Abstract: The clutch mechanism is servo-assisted, comprising means for engaging and disengaging drive with full engine torque in play, yet requiring a minimum of effort at the control. Applications include the type of forward-&-reverse drive gear as used in the transmissions of marine engine-and-screw propeller units.
