Abstract: The support comprises means for elastic longitudinal positioning of the upper chassis carrying the seat, constituted by a first rigid element (51) which is fixed in the horizontal direction with a lower chassis for fixing on the vehicle and which is situated between two further rigid elements (42A, 42B) fixed in the horizontal direction with an upper chassis (2) carrying the seat, while two opposed elastic elements (52, 53) are interposed respectively between the said first rigid element and the two other rigid elements.
Abstract: The top frame of a vehicle seat is fitted with upper longitudinal guides for slidably mounting the frame on an articulated system which serves to displace the seat in a vertical direction while also permitting horizontal displacement of the seat in sliding motion. The upper guides are locked in any desired longitudinal position by means of catches and may be disengaged by means of a release control member.
Abstract: The device comprises a stationary bottom frame, a vertically movable top frame urged upwards by a compression spring, and scissors-type guiding levers between the top and bottom frames. One end of the spring is applied against the guiding levers and the other end is applied against a screw-and-nut system for adjusting flexibility of the suspension according to the weight of the user. A screw or a toothed rack are provided for adjusting the useful vertical range of travel of the suspension according to the height of the user.
