Abstract: The invention relates to a traveling carriage moveable on a guide rod (14), wherein a traveling body (10) of the traveling carriage partially embraces the guide rod (14) with a gap opening remaining on one side, the gap opening being formed by a fixed projection (16) and a moveable projection (18) and, in the closed and locked operating condition, being smaller than the smallest cross section of the guide rod (14) which can be taken into consideration and, in the opened and unlocked removal condition, being larger than the largest cross section of the guide rod (14) which can be taken into consideration. This traveling carriage serves, for example, to mount a spotlight in a recording studio.

Abstract: The invention relates to a lifting apparatus with a carrying part (16, 18) which is connected via a cable (22) or the like with an actuating part for adjustment of the vertical position of the carrying part, in particular by means of interconnection of a pantograph (10), the actuating part comprising an actuating device with a gear transmission of which one transmission part, under the influence of the load of the carrying part (16, 18) or a load hanging from this, exerts a force on the other transmission part which couples this transmission part with an actuating element against a restoring force, wherein, upon actuation for the lifting of the carrying part (16, 18) out of the position in which the one transmission part does not exert any force on the other transmission part, the latter is moveable again into coupling engagement by means of the actuating element.

Abstract: A support head for television or motion-picture cameras able to allow horizontal and azimuthal panning shots, is made up of balancing member and device of control and adjustment of both horizontal and azimuthal movements. The device for the control and adjustment of azimuthal and horizontal movements includes a braking element and a braked element, assembled on the same axis and each made up of a series of facing annular surfaces. The annular surfaces of the braking system engage in the spaces between adjacent facing surfaces of the braking element. A high viscosity fluid is arranged between the facing surfaces of the braking and braked elements. The device for actuating the braking element for adjustment of azimuthal movement is made up of a screw control arranged inside the support head, rotating inside a hollow shaft element slidable in a longitudinal direction and having slot ports on its outer surface.
