Abstract: A slip-resistant footwear tread including wide dispersion channels is disclosed. Namely, a slip-resistant footwear tread is provided that is formed of any arrangement of repeating tread patterns that may include wide dispersion channels amongst an arrangement of tread elements and/or features, wherein the wide dispersion channels are of suitable width and depth to reduce, or substantially eliminate, the accumulation, sticking, and/or gumming of materials therein.
