The pallet may be enclosed on one or more sides by a pallet guard assembly, with the terminator permitting an open or free side that can be placed directly adjacent a structure while maintaining the pallet guard assembly in position around the pallet. The pallet guard terminator may be constructed to have multiple orientations to permit attachment to the pallet guard assembly members having different orientations. The pallet guard terminator may be constructed to have a single orientation to interfit with specific members of a pallet guard assembly.

Abstract: An infant seat mounted on a shopping cart permits an infant to be carried while avoiding interference with a nesting function of the shopping cart. The infant seat includes a mounting plate that can be fastened to the shopping cart at a gate that can pivot about an axis to permit the infant seat to pivot with the gate during shopping cart nesting. The infant seat can be mounted to the shopping cart at a desired mounting angle with the optional use of wedges that have particular angles of inclination. The combination of wedges can be used to produce a desired mounting angle for different types of shopping carts to which the infant seat is fastened. Mounting angle indicia can be provided on the infant seat to help determine a proper or desired mounting angle for the infant seat. A gauge to determine a proper or desired mounting angle can be used with the indicia to obtain the desired mounting angle.

Abstract: A seatbelt for a child in a child seat provides a broad range of adjustment by configuring a belt to be threaded through an adjustment cleat with a loose end. The seatbelt adjustment range can be increased by supplying adjustments on two sides of a claspable belt. A sleeve surrounds a portion of the belt to reduce the size of any free loops. The seatbelt retainers can be placed close to one another so that a snug fit for the child in the child seat can be obtained with the seatbelt. The seatbelt configuration provides a secure, simple to manipulate adjustment mechanism that fits a wide range of children for a variety of child seats.

Abstract: A pallet guard includes a plurality of modular pallet guard sections. Each pallet guard section comprises a connecting piece and a wall. The connecting pieces are adjustable. The walls are matable with another pallet guard section so that the pallet guard is adjustable to accommodate varying size pallets and/or spill-over merchandise on the pallet. Each connecting piece may be moveable between a first position, wherein the connecting piece is straight, and a second angled position where the pallet connecting piece forms a corner.

Abstract: The child seatbelt assembly is provided on-site as a single piece and includes two nylon web seatbelt portions which latch to each other by way of a releasable buckle. Both seatbelt portions are permanently affixed to strap retainers by means of sewing or attaching permanently through the seatbelt portions or through a sew-tab included as part of the strap retainers. This provides that the seatbelt portions are affixed to the strap retainers regardless of whether or not the strap retainers are in the open or closed position. This further allows the child seatbelt assembly to be provided to an installation site, such as a grocery store, as a single assembly.

Abstract: A highchair for infants has a support structure having four legs, an infant seat disposed on the support structure adapted to cradle an infant's body so as to provide support for the infant's back from below and to conform to the contour of the back of an infant who is to young to sit up without support with the infant's back in an erect position, the support structure having a height which enables the infant to be supported in the infant seat at a height substantially above floor level, and further including a latch detachably coupling the infant seat to the support structure. When the infant seat is detached a convenient infant carrier is thus provided.
