  • Patent number: 11564353
Abstract: A crop cart unloading system for efficiently unloading a harvested crop from a crop cart. The crop cart unloading system generally includes a hopper having a floor conveyor movably positioned with respect to a lower floor, a plurality of sidewalls extending upwardly from the lower floor, an unloading door movably connected to an unloading end of the hopper, and an upper opening defined by an upper edge of the plurality of sidewalls for receiving a field crop. The hopper is pivotally connected to a support frame having a plurality of wheels. A first actuator is connected between the support frame and the hopper to lift the unloading end of the hopper. An unloading conveyor is attached to the unloading end of the hopper to receive and discharge a field crop from the hopper.

  • Patent number: 10729074
Abstract: A crop cart loading system for loading a crop. The crop cart loading system generally includes a hopper having a floor and a sidewall extending from the floor to an upper edge thereof. The sidewall defines a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and an interior space for accommodating a crop. A conveyor is mounted to the hopper and configured to receive a crop at one of the first and second ends, and to longitudinally translate the crop above the floor toward the other of the first and second ends.

  • Patent number: 10542677
Abstract: A crop cart cleaning and unloading system for cleaning debris such as dirt and rocks from a crop as the crop is being transferred between a hopper of a crop cart and a transport vehicle. The crop cart cleaning and unloading system generally includes a hopper for receiving a crop such as potatoes. The hopper transfers the crop onto a cleaning bed on which the crop is cleaned of debris, with the debris falling underneath the cleaning bed. The crop is conveyed across the cleaning bed as it is cleaned, with the cleaned crop being transferred from the cleaning bed onto an unloading conveyor. The unloading conveyor then transfers the cleaned crop to another location to be discharged, such as directly into a transport vehicle for further transport and processing.

  • Patent number: 9555676
Abstract: A hydraulic towing system for use with towing vehicles lacking hydraulics including a hydraulic housing which is mounted to a towing device. The hydraulic housing includes an internal compartment which stores a hydraulic system for controlling the towing device. A reservoir, pump, and control are used to control flow of hydraulic fluid through a plurality of hydraulic conduits. First and second hydraulic conduits are linked with a lift actuator which acts to transition the towing device between a lowered position for use and a raised position for storage. Third and fourth hydraulic conduits are linked with a catch actuator, which acts to mount the towing device to a towed vehicle by extending an engaging member to through a hitch of the towed vehicle. Thus, a self-contained hydraulic system may be provided for a towing device where the towing vehicle does not include its own hydraulic system.

  • Patent number: 9272592
Abstract: A tow hook connection system which may be universally and efficiently secured to a vehicle in a manner which reduces the risk of damaging the vehicle. The tow hook connection system generally includes a spread bar, a first connector, a second connector, and a tow member. The first and second connectors are adapted to be secured to a vehicle. The spread bar is secured between the first and second connectors, such as by fasteners and/or nuts. A tow member having a tow loop may be fixedly or removably secured to the spread bar. By connecting an object to the tow loop, the force of towing may be spread between the first and second connectors by the spread bar to reduce the risk of damage to the vehicle while towing.

  • Patent number: 9139059
Abstract: A hitch is configured to be attached to a towed vehicle. The hitch includes a mounting bracket and a frame connected to the mounting bracket. The frame has arms extending away from the mounting bracket. The arms surround and define an opening. The arms each have a proximal end connected to the mounting bracket and each arm has a distal end connected to a cross-member. A plate is connected to the cross-member. The plate has a cutout. A support member is connected between the bracket and the frame. The mounting bracket is configured to be attached to a front of the towed vehicle. The front of the towed vehicle has attached weights that are used to counter balance a load on the towed vehicle. The weights are surrounded by the frame and extend into the opening.
