Abstract: A safety harness with a front D-ring includes an upper body portion and a lower body portion. A front D-ring is positioned at a front of the upper body portion where a first shoulder strap and a second shoulder strap cross. A single length of webbing is used to form a first end of the first shoulder strap, form a first end of the second shoulder strap and connect the front D-ring in a fixed position relative to the first shoulder strap and the second shoulder strap. The single length of webbing is wrapped around a cross-piece of the front D-ring and the first end of the first shoulder strap is formed from a first loop of the single length of webbing sewn together and the second end of the second shoulder strap is formed from a second loop of the single length of webbing sewn together.
