Abstract: Methods/devices for managing messages broadcast in a local area network (LAN) include nodes allowing an extension of wireless communication coverage and stations. The nodes are connected together by a backhaul subnetwork, and at least one node sends at least one wireless network to which the stations are connected. The LAN includes a primary subnetwork and a secondary subnetwork. The primary subnetwork is a subnetwork to which the links of the backhaul network and the nodes belong. The secondary subnetwork is composed of at least one station and is isolated from the rest of the LAN by a virtual network. A node able to apply the filtering rules demands an analysis of the topology of the local network, determines, from the topology of the LAN, filtering rules to be applied, and applies the filtering rules determined to the broadcast packets including at least one item of information identifying the virtual network.

Abstract: A method for switching off a communication network is provided. The communication network includes a plurality of access points coordinated by a master device, where each access point manages a wireless network known as a fronthaul network, and where a station is able to associate itself with a fronthaul network of the communication network. At least one item of information relating to each associated station is obtained from each access point, and, for each station, it is determined as to whether it is present or absent according to association information. A phase of switching off at least one fronthaul network is initiated when all the stations are determined as being absent from the communication network.

Abstract: A method and a device for detecting incidents in a local area network by way of an incident detection device, the incident detection device being connected to the local area network via a wide area network, a data collection agent collecting data describing the local area network. The device is able to detect various types of anomaly and receives messages from the collection agent, validates and aggregates data contained in each received message into groups of data, calculates a severity score for each group of data, for each type of anomaly and calculates a total severity score for each group of data, calculates a total criticality score from all of the total severity scores, and generates recommendation messages or corrective actions at least on the basis of the total criticality score.

Abstract: A measurement method for measuring video latency induced by a piece of video playback equipment that is connected to a piece of decoder equipment having a photosensitive sensor incorporated therein, the method including the steps of: causing a screen of the video playback equipment to generate emitted light test signals; using the photosensitive sensor to acquire captured light signals including received light test signals resulting from the emitted light test signals being reflected on at least one surface of surroundings of the video playback equipment; acquiring measurement signals produced by the photosensitive sensor from the captured light signals, and analyzing the measurement signals in order to obtain a video latency measurement.

Abstract: A voice assistant includes an electronic processor unit connected to at least one microphone and to remote equipment. The electronic processor unit includes both single detection modules for detecting respective single keywords from an audio signal supplied by the microphone, and also a control unit connected to the single detection modules to select predetermined actions as a function of the detected keywords and to perform those actions. The control module is also arranged to detect whether actions are doable and to activate or deactivate the single detection modules as a function of the doability of the actions.

Abstract: A method and a device for reconfiguring a first interconnection of a first node with a second node of a backhaul subnetwork in a local area network including a plurality of nodes, the first and second nodes being interconnected by a radio connection in a first frequency band. A controller node: selects a third node of the local area network, the third node being different from the first and second nodes, establishes a second interconnection between the first and third nodes by a radio connection in a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, deletes the first interconnection when the second interconnection is established.

Abstract: A processor device for processing an incoming audio stream, the device including: a configuration element arranged to acquire input parameters having both first characteristics of the incoming audio stream and also second characteristics of the audio playback devices, and to produce configuration parameters on the basis of the input parameters; a master element arranged to define processing sequences from the configuration parameters, each processing sequence being associated with and adapted to a respective playback channel, to apply the processing sequences to the incoming audio stream so as to produce processed audio streams, each adapted to a respective one of the playback channels, and to transmit to each piece of equipment including an audio playback device the processed audio stream is adapted to the playback channel associated with the audio playback device.

Abstract: A method of managing an audio stream that is read by audio playback equipment in a manner that is synchronized on a reference clock is provided. The method includes the following steps implemented in said piece of audio playback equipment: receiving the audio stream, the audio stream being in the form of packets, each packet comprising a succession of audio samples associated with identification information characteristic of a timestamp of said packet; playing the audio samples contained in each packet and storing a time given by the reference clock that is characteristic of the moment at which a predetermined sample of at least one of the packets is played; and sending a message including correspondence information concerning the correspondence between the identification information characteristic of a timestamp of said packet and the time stored in the preceding step.

Abstract: A wireless communication network that includes a backhaul network interconnecting node devices for extending a radio coverage of a wireless fronthaul network by using a plurality of access points of the wireless fronthaul network, the communication channel is used for interconnecting said node devices. A node device of the backhaul network makes an evaluation of the transmission conditions of its radio environment; calculates a score representing a quality of transmission via this communication channel; transmits to said master node device a message requesting change of communication channel of the backhaul network when at least one other communication channel has obtained a better score than the communication channel selected by the master node device. On reception of the message, master node device obtains scores for the other node devices, and decides to change, or not, communication channel used in the backhaul network according to the scores obtained.

Abstract: A method for managing by management equipment including a first access point of a first network and a second access point of a second network, the first network having functionalities superior to the second network, each access point sending beacons, a station being able to process the beacons sent by the first and second access points or being able to process only the beacons sent by the second access point, the second access point performs the steps of: receiving an association request coming from a station, checking whether the station is able to process the beacon sent by the first access point, rejecting the association request if the station is able to process the beacons sent by the first access point, and associating the station if the station is not able to process the beacons sent by the first access point.

Abstract: An item of ONU equipment configures itself for communicating via a first transport system with an item of OLT equipment in an optical access network, and starts a synchronisation for the first transport system and transmits via the first transport system. The OLT equipment transmits, via a protocol layer fitting on top of the entire transport system of the optical access network, without waiting for the synchronisation for the first transport system to have ended, a message indicating which transport system is to be used by the ONU equipment. When the transport system to be used by the ONU equipment is the first transport system, the synchronisation continues the first communication system, otherwise the synchronisation is restarted for the second transport system.
