Abstract: A method for computer host heat dissipation, a heat-dissipating device being mounted on a CPU utilized for partially or wholly conducting heat generated by the CPU to the heat-dissipating device, a fan being mounted on a north bridge chipset utilized for partially or wholly dissipating heat generated by said north bridge chipset, the fan having an air outlet utilized for blowing air flow towards the heat-dissipating device in an air-blowing direction, characterized in that a channeling device is disposed at the periphery of both the fan and the heat-dissipating device; the channeling device is utilized for directing an air-channeling direction, with such air-channeling direction being substantially parallel to the air-blowing direction by the fan, and the air-blowing direction by the fan is in the air-channeling direction, and the heat-dissipating device is in the air-blowing direction.

Abstract: A computer heat dissipating structure of the invention is mounted over a computer main board inside a computer principal unit to dissipate the heat irradiated by at least a principal heat source and a secondary heat source. The computer heat dissipating structure comprises a heat sink that is mounted on the principal heat source, and a fan that is mounted at one lateral side of the heat sink. The fan includes an outer casing that has a lower casing body made of a material having good thermal conduction characteristics. The outer casing further includes an airflow inlet and an airflow outlet that is connected to the heat sink, the lower casing body being placed on the secondary heat source. Via a separate mount of the heat sink and the fan, a lateral blow vis-à-vis the heat sink is thereby achieved to improve the simultaneous heat dissipation of two heat sources.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a pointing device having a computer host. The present invention comprises a cursor move device for moving the cursor and a command input device for inputting commands to the computer host. Among these, the computer host further includes a mother board, a CPU, a memory and at least one connecting port. Via the connecting ports, user interface such as a display and a keyboard can be connected to the present invention to form a complete computer.

Abstract: A portable computer host without any user interface is disclosed. The disclosed portable computer host includes the elements below. First, a mother board is provided, a CPU is placed on the upper surface of the mother board and electrically coupled to the mother board via cables. A main memory is placed on the lower surface of the mother board and electrically coupled to the CPU via cables. Via a socket, the CPU is coupled to the mother board. Additionally, a heat sink is attached to the CPU to dissipate the heat generated by the CPU. At least one port is placed along the periphery of the mother board. Via the connecting ports, user interfaces can be connected to the portable computer. The disclosed portable computer host also includes a housing, consisting of s lower case and an upper case. Among these, the lower case holds the mother board and encapsulates the lower surface. Besides, the upper case covers the upper surface of the mother board.
