Patent number: 5740661Abstract: In a sheet wrapping body producing apparatus, an oxygen absorbing strip sheet supplied from an oxygen absorbing sheet supplying shaft is cut out by a first rotary die cut unit to make an oxygen absorbing sheet tip. The tip is transported in such a manner to prevent the misalignment by a delivery drum unit and a first transportation belt unit. During the transportation, a breathing layer strip sheet is supplied on a transporting surface of the first transportation belt unit, on which the oxygen absorbing sheet tip is placed. Also, a strip cover film is placed on the oxygen absorbing sheet tip. Then, a rotary seal unit seals the breathing layer strip sheet and strip cover film, and the sealed portion is cut by a second rotary die cut unit. Accordingly, a sheet wrapping body can be produced at high speeds.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 1996Date of Patent: April 21, 1998Assignees: Sumitomo Chemical Company, Limited, Sanjo Machine Works Ltd.Inventors: Takayuki Yamaguchi, Takanori Kume, Yasuhiro Kayano, Tomio Higuchi

Patent number: 5236300Abstract: In a stacking and forwarding apparatus, an array of work is continuously transported or rails by belts and a preceeding one of works is located and stopped in a receiving space defined by stoppers. The preceeding one of works is lifted by three guide rails which are located at left and right sides and front side of the work. Thus, a next work is received in the receiving space under the preceeding work and also lifted by the rollers. The pair of stacked works is pushed outside of the apparatus.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 1992Date of Patent: August 17, 1993Assignees: Sanjo Machine Works, Ltd., Japan Tobacco Inc.Inventors: Satoru Aida, Hideo Soyama, Mitsuaki Kawabata, Masashi Yokoyama

Patent number: 4695007Abstract: An apparatus of this invention includes first and second supply rolls of wrapping film sheets. The film sheet is fed from first supply roll to a wrapping machine. The distal end of the film sheet of the second supply roll is partially fixed by an adhesive tape. In this state, the film sheet cannot be fed from the second supply roll. The second supply roll can be rotated in the forward or reverse direction. The apparatus also includes a knife for cutting the adhesive tape of the second supply roll. When the remaining length of the film sheet fed from the first supply roll becomes short, the knife is brought into contact with the outer surface of the second supply roll. By utilizing the rotation of the roll, the knife is inserted under the distal end of the film sheet of the second supply roll. Thereafter, the knife is moved along the outer surface of the second supply roll in the axial direction thereof, thereby cutting the adhesive tape of the second supply roll.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 1986Date of Patent: September 22, 1987Assignees: Sanjo Machine Works, Ltd., Japan Tobacco, Inc.Inventors: Yoshiyuki Muto, Tadao Etani, Satoru Aida, Shinya Kato

Patent number: 4672796Abstract: A control method of operation of a collective packing machine, which packing machine is composed of a main packing machine and an auxiliary packing machine. The main packing machine is in continuous operation while the auxiliary packing machine is in stop waiting operation wherein the auxiliary packing machine is operated in matching and synchronization with the main packing machine. When the auxiliary packing machine is at the stop waiting state, the revolution speed of a main shaft of the main packing machine and the revolution speed of an input shaft of a clutch of the auxiliary packing machine are controlled by comparing and matching therebetween. When an output shaft of the clutch is stopped and operation of the auxiliary packing machine is started, operation starting time of the auxiliary packing machine is made earlier than the normal operation starting time by time t.sub.s. The time t.sub.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 1986Date of Patent: June 16, 1987Assignees: The Japan Tobacco & Salt Public Corporation, Sanjo Machine Works Ltd.Inventors: Shuichi Ono, Satoru Aida, Kinshiro Hoshino
