Patents Assigned to Sanko Chemical Company Ltd.
  • Patent number: 4046941
Abstract: A sensitized sheet for a pressure sensitive copy system is obtained by coating the surface of a support with an acceptor composition comprising a particulate mixture comprising an organic acid substance selected from the group consisting of aromatic carboxylic acids and polyvalent metal salts thereof, and an organic high molecular compound. The above coating composition may further contain an inorganic solid particle such as oxides, hydroxides and carbonates of a polyvalent metal, and other mineral pigments. The coating procedure may be carried out with use of coating means mounted on the conventional paper machines.

  • Patent number: 4009205
Abstract: A process for the preparation of 4-amino-3-methyl-N-substituted or unsubstituted alkylanilines comprising acylating and/or sulfonylating 4-amino-3-methyl-nitro-benzene having the formula (I) ##STR1## with an acylation or sulfonylation agent to obtain a compound having the general formula (II) ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an acyl group, R.sub.2 represents an acyl group or a sulfonyl group, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 can combine as a difunctional acyl group; reducing the nitro group of the compound having the general formula (II) with hydrogen in the presence of a metal hydrogenation catalyst to obtain a compound having the general formula (III) ##STR3## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are as above defined; alkylating the amino group of the compound having the general formula (III) with an alkylation agent selected from the group consisting of an alkyl halide, a substituted alkyl halide and an alkylene oxide to obtain a compound having the general formula (IV) ##STR4## wherein R.sub.1 and R.

  • Patent number: 3983292
Abstract: In a pressure sensitive recording paper which comprises in combination: a dyestuff precursor or dyestuff precursor solution and a dyestuff acceptor composition which is capable of color formation by reaction with said dyestuff precursor, the dyestuff acceptor consists essentially of a polyvalent metal salt of 3-position-substituted salicylic acid derivatives having at least 12, preferably at least 19 carbon atoms.
