Patents Assigned to Sanofi (Societe Anonyme)
  • Patent number: 6461825
Abstract: A process and kit which permit quantitative measurement in a single analysis step of a target antigen of a whole cell. The process and kit utilize a solid support onto which is bound at least one antibody that binds to and immobilizes the subject whole cell at a surface antigenic site other than the target antigen. A second, labeled antibody specific for the target antigen is then added, and the binding is then quantitatively measured by analytical means. The process of this invention can provide rapid quantitative assay, e.g., less than one hour, of multiple samples.

  • Patent number: 5752627
Abstract: A pump-type device for distributing or spraying a product has first and second chambers which receive the product and a distribution fluid (gas), respectively. First and second pistons pressurize the product and the distribution fluid in the chambers as the movable member of the pump assembly begins moving in a first (downward) direction, then distribution passageways are opened to allow discharge of the product and the distribution fluid. Reverse movement of the movable member allows a subsequent dose of the product and distribution fluid to refill the chambers. The device is particularly well suited for spraying of relatively viscous products.

  • Patent number: 4762707
Abstract: The present invention relates to new immunoenzymic conjugates resulting from a chemical coupling, by covalent bond, of an antibody or a fragment of antibody, which has retained the capacity of recognizing the selected antigen, with an enzyme capable of producing ammonium ions from natural substrates which are well tolerated in higher animal organisms. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of these conjugates and the medicinal associations of said conjugates with an immunotoxin.
