  • Patent number: 10240350
Abstract: A free access floor structure to install a manufacturing apparatus such as a semiconductor manufacturing apparatus, in a short time, and a manufacturing apparatus and a carrier apparatus adapted for the floor structure. An embodiment of the manufacturing apparatus includes an apparatus-side connector which is provided, facing downward, to a bottom plate of a manufacturing apparatus. A floor structure of an embodiment includes a floor plate to be worked into a floor surface. The floor structure includes a floor-side connector which is provided, facing upward, to the floor plate so as to be connected with the apparatus-side connector according to a lowering operation of the manufacturing apparatus. An installation step (mounting step, piping/wiring step) of the manufacturing apparatus may thereby be performed in one step. As a result, the labor and the time required to install the manufacturing apparatus may be saved.

  • Patent number: 7123913
Abstract: A cellular telephone (100) that searches for a destination base station in accordance with a handoff instruction receives a soft handoff instruction or a hard handoff that is able to specify a first search window size. When the hard handoff instruction is received, a search block (70) is controlled so that a window control block (83) searches for pilot signals from neighboring base stations using a search window having a size larger than one of the first search window size and a third search window size that is used when the soft handoff instruction is received.

  • Publication number: 20030233063
Abstract: An applicator includes a shank, an application liquid impregnated part disposed on at least one end of the shank, and a film covering the shank and the application liquid impregnated part. The film includes a shank cover region and an impregnated part cover region formed integrally with and separable from the shank cover region. The shank cover region of the film is formed to have a small width capable of being gripped by a user in the state that the shank is covered with the film. Therefore, it is avoidable that the user's hand becomes dirty with application liquid such as medical liquid by separating only the impregnated part cover region and then gripping the shank through the film covering the shank.

  • Patent number: 5207994
Abstract: In construction of an apparatus for innoxious disposal of medical wastes, the medical wastes containing meltable components such as plastic resins, and unmeltable components such as syringe needles and residues are thrown into a compression hopper and compressed under application of heat by piston operation into a compact cake. Sharp unmeltable components such as syringe needles are totally embraced by the meltable components such that they are not exposed outside the obtained cake, thereby removing the danger in subsequent handling of the cake. Pathogenic germs in the residues are killed during application of heat and the residues are fully evaporated due to heating in an evaporation dish arranged below the compression hopper.
