Abstract: A lighting apparatus is provided having one or more light emitting diodes arranged in a row. The light emitting diodes may be supported by an elongated body. The elongated body may comprise an optical element formed from an at least partially optically transmissive material. The lighting apparatus has two ends and may have electrical connectors at the ends.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a light emitting module is provided. A plurality of light-emitting diodes are aligned on an elongated base board. By a dispenser, an uncured paste of sealing material is continuously applied on a plurality of light-emitting diodes aligned on the elongated base board. The applied paste of sealing material is cured.
Abstract: A recessed lighting fixture comprises a generally annular body having a central cavity in the form of a partially spherical socket. There is a lighting support member having a partially spherical exterior portion which is closely fitted within the partially spherical socket of the annular body. The lighting support member is pivotable relative to the annular body, but air flow between the partially spherical socket of the annular body and the partially spherical exterior portion of the lighting support member is substantially restricted. There may be a light source mounted to the lighting support member adjacent a bottom thereof. The light source may be a light-emitting diode.
Abstract: A light fixture uses printed circuit boards and is adapted to be modularly connected to other similar light fixtures to allow for any configuration of a light fixture to be provided. The light fixture may include a plurality of printed circuit boards which are removably provided in the light fixture and which simplify the manufacturing, substantially reduce the cost and size of the lighting system. More specifically, the light fixture includes a housing having first and second ends, electrical endcaps located at the first and second ends of the housing and at least one printed circuit board disposed inside of the housing and electrically connected to at least one of the electrical endcaps, the printed circuit board including a socket containing a lamp contained therein.
