    Abstract: A portable aspirator has a canister, a housing that removably receives the canister, and a rigid catheter directly connected to the canister. Preferably, the canister and the catheter are molded or otherwise formed in a one piece construction. An inlet port on the housing and an outlet chamber from the canister are provided with seals to form an air tight connection between the housing and the canister. The canister is constructed to form a labyrinthine path from the catheter to the outlet chamber.
