Abstract: A napkin assembly including an open ended chute for storing a stack of napkins therein and an openable and closeable front member relative to the open end of the chute is disclosed. The chute is made of first to fourth sidewall members and a rear member that are separately injection molded pieces that include a clip structure to allow the pieces to be clipped together to form the chute. Opposed ones of the sidewall members are identical pieces allowing them to be interchanged with one another during manufacture while still allowing the sidewall members to clip together to form the chute. The front member includes a transparent window to allow a depth of the stack to be viewed from the outside to check a product low condition. The front member includes locking tabs to lock it in a closed position relative to the chute. The tabs may be flexed through openings in the chute from the outside into a lock release position. The chute includes blocking members to prevent over inward deflection of the locking tabs.

Abstract: A method of operating a datalogger adapted for logging sensor data from an absorbent article having at least one sensor element and the datalogger are described. The method includes: determining an external event; and on determination of the external event, transitioning from a first operating condition to a second operating condition. The external event can be an event selected from: a disconnection event in which the datalogger is disconnected from the absorbent article; a connection event in which the datalogger is connected to an absorbent article; a charge event in which the datalogger is connected to a charging station; and a user interaction event in which the user interacts with a user interface element of the datalogger. The first and second operation conditions can be selected from: a datalogging condition; a standby condition; a status notification condition; and a data transmission condition.

Abstract: A dispenser for interfolded napkins, having an upper portion and a lower portion, a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction is disclosed. The dispenser includes a container having a bottom wall extending in a horizontal plane and being arranged at the lower portion of the dispenser, and side walls having upper edges and lower edges and extending from the bottom wall in a vertical direction perpendicular thereto; a dispensing opening arranged at the upper portion of the dispenser opposite to the bottom wall; a weight arranged between the side walls so as to form a stack-supported lid of the dispenser that is movable between an upper position adjacent to the dispensing opening, and a lower position adjacent to the bottom wall; and a weight control means interconnecting the weight and the container, and extending inside the container between a container connection arranged at the lower portion of the dispenser and a weight connection arranged at the upper portion of the dispenser.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a packaging unit for hygiene articles and a method for forming such a unit. The packaging unit has a first packaging function as a packaging wrap for a non-used article, and a second disposal function as a disposal wrap for a used article. The packaging unit further comprises a user prompting device having a wrap-facing surface and a user-facing surface, wherein the user prompting device is permanently attached to the wrap such that at least a portion of the wrap-facing surface of the user prompting device is in contact with the inner surface of the wrap. The user prompting device is arranged to prompt the user to employ the second disposal function of the packaging unit.

Abstract: An absorbent product including a liquid-permeable top layer, a liquid-impermeable bottom layer and an absorbent core arranged between the top layer and the bottom layer is disclosed. The absorbent product has a head product portion, an intermediate product portion and a rear product portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the absorbent product. The absorbent product has an outer contour having a shape resembling an hourglass, wherein the intermediate product portion includes an area with a smaller width than any area in the head product portion and rear product portion, respectively, and wherein the core extends in the longitudinal direction and transverse direction of the absorbent product and has an outer contour that is asymmetrical with the outer contour of the absorbent product.

Abstract: An absorbent core, intended for use in an absorbent product such as a panty liner, is disclosed, comprising an absorbent material and a superabsorbent material. The core has a first extension in a longitudinal direction and a second extension in a transverse direction, and a longitudinal central line extending through the core, located between a first longitudinal portion and a second longitudinal portion. The first and second longitudinal portions are symmetric about the longitudinal central line. The core has a head portion, an intermediate portion and a rear portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the core. The head portion includes mirror imaged first circular segment portions and first edge lines to which the circular segment portions transition. The intermediate portion includes mirror imaged first convex edge portions. The rear portion includes second edge lines tapering towards a rear end and the central line of the core in an angle.

Abstract: A data collection and monitoring system for a defined space within a public or commercial facility, comprising: a plurality of sensors of which at least one sensor is arranged for monitoring the level of a consumable in connection with said space; and a data collecting unit arranged for wirelessly communicating with said sensors and furthermore arranged for communicating with a central server associated with a storage medium. The storage medium is adapted for storing and monitoring data related to said space. The system is arranged so that said data collecting unit is arranged for minimizing the amount of data transmitted, by transferring data from said sensors to said central server upon a status change of at least one of said sensors.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing sheets of web material is provided. The dispenser includes a dispenser housing and storage compartment for receiving a stack of sheets of web material. The housing has a front side, a rear side, upper and lower end portions, and two vertical sides connecting the front and rear sides, the lower end portion forming a dispensing end portion of the dispenser. The storage compartment includes a support arrangement for supporting the stack of sheets of web material at the dispensing end portion of the dispenser. The support arrangement a dispensing opening is arranged in a portion between the front, rear and side portions and an abutment surface to which the stack of sheets of web material can abut.

Abstract: Absorbent product includes a nonwoven material arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product. The nonwoven material includes non-absorbent and/or absorbent fibres. The fibres, at least on a surface arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product, have a coarseness of from 0.1 to 10 dtex, or from 0.5 to 7 dtex. The fibres and/or the nonwoven material is coated with a lubricating coating composition suitable for use in absorbent and/or hygiene products at least on a surface arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product. By the product including the nonwoven, wet friction can be reduced between the nonwoven and the skin of the user.

Abstract: Absorbent article having a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction, a front portion, a rear portion and a middle portion located between the rear portion and the front portion is disclosed. The article has a first longitudinal side edge and a second longitudinal side edge extending in said longitudinal direction, and a first transverse side edge and a second transverse side edge extending in the transverse direction. The article includes a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and a first and a second fastening tab attached to said article. Abstract: A pant-type absorbent article, such as a pant diaper, a sanitary pant or incontinence pant, includes a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion, wherein lateral side portions of the front portion and back portion are superposed so that their inner surfaces face each other and being joined to each other along side seams. At least part of said front and back portions comprises an elastic laminate including first and second fibrous layers and an elastic film layer located therebetween, the first fibrous layer forms an inner wearer-facing side of the elastic laminate having a basis weight of between 13 and 30 g/m2 and the basis weight of the first fibrous layer is between 10 and 300% higher than the basis weight of the second fibrous layer, and wherein the first fibrous layers face each other along said side seams.

Abstract: A dispensing system including a dispenser for dispensing a product and a waste receptacle for receiving a used product. A triggering connection is present between the dispenser and the waste receptacle. The triggering connection is suitable to trigger in response to a dispensing action an encouraging action of the waste receptacle to encourage use of the waste receptacle.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining presence of an object to be tidied in a washroom. A beam is supplied to a surface of the washroom at a first location. A reflected beam received from the surface of the washroom or received from an object in the path of the beam to the surface is detected. The presence of the object is determined from feedback from the beam based on a comparison of the feedback with a detection result when the beam reflects from the surface at the first location. An object to be tidied output signal is issued indicating that an object to be tidied is present based on the determination on the presence of an object.

Abstract: A dispenser for storing and dispensing a hygiene product, includes at least one wall having a support structure made at least mainly of plastic material, and at least one metal sheet attached on an outer side of the support structure. The at least one metal sheet includes a rim extending along at least a part of a peripheral side edge of the at least one metal sheet and a plurality of fastening tabs distributed around the peripheral side edge of the at least one metal sheet. The support structure includes at least one groove arranged to receive the rim and a plurality of apertures configured to receive the fastening tabs. Also, a method for manufacturing the dispenser, the support structure with groove and apertures as such, and the metal sheet with a rim and fastening tabs as such is disclosed.

Abstract: An article includes a chassis and a belt to be placed around the waist of a wearer and separable from the chassis. A front and/or rear portion of the chassis includes a pair of first fasteners detachably attachable to the outer surface of the belt and separated by a first distance. The chassis includes a pair of first stretch markings related to the first distance. The belt includes a pair of second stretch markings marking a second distance when in a relaxed state and a predetermined third distance when in a stretched state. In a relaxed state, the first stretch markings are positioned in conjunction with or within the second stretch markings allowing the chassis to be attached to the belt in the relaxed state via the first fasteners and allowing the belt to be stretched into the third distance without jeopardizing the fastening of the first fasteners.

Abstract: A hydroentangled integrated composite nonwoven material, includes a mixture of randomized continuous filaments, splittable shortcut staple fibers, and optionally non-splittable staple fibers. The splittable fibers should be 3-16 mm long bicomponent fibers. Preferably there should be no thermal bonding points between the filaments. The nonwoven material has improved textile feeling and reduced two-sidedness. The continuous filaments should preferably be spunlaid filaments. Some of the staple fibers can be colored. A process of producing such a nonwoven material is disclosed.

Abstract: A tacky mat is made from a tacky elastomeric polymer composition for releasably securing a portable roll dispenser to a surface and a portable roll dispenser on which a tacky mat is arranged, preferably on the bottom of the dispenser, wherein the mat is made from a tacky elastomeric polymer composition.
