  • Patent number: 10755521
Abstract: A method and system are provided for betting and redemption using a single draw game ticket for a plurality of discrete wagers made by an individual consumer for a given draw game, thereby allowing discrete wagers to be accepted, recorded, and documented for any number of wagers at one time.

  • Patent number: 10599072
Abstract: An interface receives a first digital signature of real-world data. A memory stores the first digital signature as seed data. The interface receives a second digital signature of real-world data. The memory stores the second digital signature as seed data. A processor generates first draw seed based, at least in part, on the seed data. The processor generates a first draw result based upon the first draw seed and a drawing algorithm. The interface receives a second draw result from a remote entity, the second draw result based, at least in part, on the first digital signature and the second digital signature. The processor determines whether the first draw result and the second draw result are in agreement. Upon a determination that the first draw result and the second draw result are in agreement, the interface communicates at least one of the first draw result and the second draw result.

  • Patent number: 10565821
Abstract: A system and method are provided for allowing a plurality of consumers to each select his or her own fixed odds and associated winning payoff from a common universal drawing. The consumer selected custom odds are derived by subdividing one drawing event into a series of variable sized “bins” that reduce wagered odds to a subset of the greater odds of the universal drawing where the totality of generated bins thereby contains 100% of the possible drawing outcomes. A modulo operation is then performed to create a unique pointer position to a congruence number for each of the created previously created bins. Thus, any desired subset of reduced wagering odds can be achieved with the virtual creation of the corresponding number of bins.

  • Patent number: 10027487
Abstract: A processor generates a first seed, wherein the first seed is a random number. The processor generates, a digital signature of the first seed. An interface communicates digital signature of the first seed to a first remote entity. The interface receives a digital signature of a second seed. After communicating the digital signature of the first seed to the first remote entity, the interface receives the second seed from the first remote entity. After receiving the digital signature of the second seed, the interface communicates the first seed to the first remote entity. The processor determines, using the digital signature of the second seed and the second seed, whether the second seed is valid. Upon a determination that the second seed is valid, the processor combines the first seed and the second seed to form a drawing seed. The processor generates a first draw result using the drawing seed and a drawing algorithm. The interface receives a second draw result from the first remote entity.

  • Patent number: 8016662
Abstract: A gaming system includes a game server and a client device. The game server accepts the publicly-verifiable outcome of a non-deterministic event as an input. The game server creates a seed from the outcome and inputs the seed into a random number generator to generate a random number. The game server generates a winner using the random number and communicates the winner to the client device.

  • Patent number: 7892087
Abstract: A gaming system includes a game server and a client server. The client server requests random numeric outcomes from the game server and supplies various state and game information. The game server generates one or more random numeric outcomes. The game server communicates the random numeric outcomes to the client server to be used in making a win determination. For purposes of future authentication, the game server stores a digitally-signed file that includes the random numeric outcomes and the state and game information.

  • Publication number: 20090018942
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of conducting an online auction includes the steps of receiving listing information from a seller for creating a listing for a product offered for sale by the seller, enabling the seller to select a chance-based incentive to encourage bidders to bid on the product, storing the listing information in a computer searchable database, the listing information identifying those listings having associated chance-based incentives, receiving one or more search requests including search criteria from one or more bidders, searching a database for products matching the search criteria, transmitting information for those products matching the search criteria such that a list of those products matching the criteria can be displayed to one or more bidders and identifying those products having a chance-based incentive, receiving one or more bids for the product from one or more bidders and identifying a successful bid for the product and the successful bidder placing the successful bid and deter

  • Patent number: 7155014
Abstract: A system for playing a lottery-type game includes a play generator, a win generator, and an evaluator. The evaluator receives the playfile from the play generator and a winning a number from the win generator and, in response to player input, determines a win/loss result. The evaluator may perform a record-by-record decryption of the playfile for each game play.
