Abstract: The present invention provides a shaft sealing device for being mounted on a rotating shaft. The shaft sealing device of the present invention includes a stationary member disposed on a housing of the shaft sealing device and having a first sealing surface; and a rotary member corresponding to the stationary member, disposed on the rotating shaft and having a second sealing surface opposite to the first sealing surface of the stationary member. A groove is disposed on the first sealing surface or the second sealing surface, and extends inwardly from the outer peripheral edge. When the groove extends inwardly, an end (a bottom wall) of the groove extends along a tangential direction of an imaginary circle containing the bottom wall of the groove.

Abstract: A shaft sealing device includes a gland having a flange with an axial hole, a coolant inlet, and a coolant outlet. A shaft sleeve is extended through the axial hole and mounted around a rotary shaft. A plurality of flexible elements extend through a plurality of through-holes in a retainer and each include two ends respectively presaging against two friction ring assemblies, allowing joint rotation of the shaft sleeve and the rotary shaft. The retainer further includes a first tangent groove having an inner end in communication with the axial hole and an outer end in communication with the coolant inlet. The retainer further includes a second tangent groove having an inner end in communication with the axial hole and an outer end in communication with the coolant outlet. Each of the first and second tangent grooves has a width decreasing from the inner end toward the outer end.

Abstract: A seal device for a rotary shaft includes a sleeve, a gland, a ring, a guide block, and a fixing member. The guide block has an outer block surface extending circumferentially and abutting against a portion of an inner gland surface of the gland, and an inner block surface extending circumferentially and opposite to the outer block surface. The outer block surface has two circumferentially opposite outer ends. The inner block surface has two circumferentially opposite inner ends. The guide block further has two opposite end faces each of which connects one of the outer ends to one of the inner ends. The inner ends subtend an angle of not larger than 90° at a center line of the gland. At least one of the end faces lies in a plane line that is substantially tangent to an outer peripheral face of the ring.

Abstract: A cartridge seal device includes a sleeve, a gland unit, a first seal unit, a pumping ring, and a second seal unit. The gland unit includes a first gland and a second gland. The first seal unit includes a first rotary ring disposed around the sleeve and rotatable along with the sleeve, a first stationary ring abutting against the first rotary ring, a compression ring abutting against the first stationary ring, and at least one first spring disposed within a retaining slot of the first gland and abutting against the compression ring. The first stationary ring has one end in abutment with the first rotary ring, and an opposite end formed with at least one notch. The compression ring has aligned guide pieces extending respectively into the notch of the first stationary ring and an engaging recess of the first gland.

Abstract: A rotating assembly of a mechanical seal includes a retainer, a pair of compression rings, a shaft sleeve, a first rotating seal ring and a second rotating seal ring. The retainer includes a plurality of spring members and a plurality of slide legs longitudinally extended in opposite directions to define limiting spaces where the compression rings are correspondingly restricted. The compression rings are located at opposite sides of the retainer between which the spring members are arranged. In assembling, the retainer, the compression rings, the first rotating seal ring and the second rotating seal ring are assembled on the shaft sleeve. Spring forces of the spring members can actuate the compression rings to push the first rotating seal ring and the second rotating seal ring in the opposite directions.

In assembling, the resilient ring member is retained between the annular end flange of the shaft tube and the retaining ring member by the engaging teeth engaging with the engaging notches. The sealing ring member is disposed between the retaining ring member and the rotary ring member by the engaging teeth engaging with the engaging recessions. Consequently, the resilient ring member, the retaining ring member, the sealing ring member and the rotary ring member are successively mounted on the shaft tube in a longitudinal direction to constitute an inner modular structure.

The shaft tube is provided with an outer flange and a rotary ring mounted thereto. The main body has an axial hole for supporting the shaft tube which is rotatably extended therethrough. The fixed sealing ring and the retaining ring are inserted in the axial hole of the main body while the positioning ring being mounted in the axial hole. The fixed sealing ring, the retaining ring and the positioning ring are disposed on the shaft tube in loose fit manner to allow for rotation. The fixed sealing ring has a first side to abut against the rotary ring, and a second side to connect to the retaining ring. The positioning ring is provided with elastic members adapted to bias the retaining ring against the fixed sealing ring.
