Abstract: A trailing arm assembly includes a frame bracket, a first frame, a parallel linkage, an adjustable biasing member, and a second frame. The frame bracket can include a first connection portion and a second connection portion. The parallel linkage pivotably connects the frame bracket and the first frame via a first pivot and a second pivot on the second connection portion of the frame bracket and a third pivot and a fourth pivot on the first frame. The adjustable biasing member pivotably connects to the frame bracket at a first end and pivotably connected to the parallel linkage at a second end, wherein the adjustable biasing member is configured to provide a downward force on the first frame. The second frame is connected to the first frame via a second parallel linkage.

Abstract: A press wheel includes a hub which rotates about an axis. A rim extends generally radially from the axis. The rim has a center plane defined as a plane perpendicular to the axis and generally bisecting the rim and defining the center of the wheel. The press wheel includes a plurality of tread portions extending away from the center plane. The plurality of tread portions have voids between adjacent tread portions on the same side of the rim, which in response to the wheel rotating, operably places consecutive adjacent tread portions proximal to the ground. The rim and tread portions are configured to contact the ground.

Abstract: An attachment assembly for the disc of a mobile agricultural device, including a washer configured to attach to a disc of the mobile agricultural device. The washer may be attached to a center location of the disc. The washer is operatively connected to a deflector bar. The deflector bar substantially prevents debris from accumulating between the disc and a fertilizer assembly attached to the disc, as the disc rotates. The deflector bar in other embodiments, may be directly connected to a fertilizer assembly, rather than to the washer.

Abstract: A device for attaching to a shank of a planting unit. The device may include liquid delivery tubing for delivery fertilizer to a planting furrow and a forming bar configured for securing to the shank. The forming bar may include a passageway extending therethrough for receiving and passing through fertilizer or other liquid that is delivered to the liquid delivery tubing. The forming bar may include a shank connecting portion, a rib portion, and a foot portion. The rib and foot portions may define the passageway. Further, the foot portion may protect the tubing. A method for using the device to deliver fertilizer to a seed furrow is also described.

The stand feature may be configured to position the furrow device at a desired angle relative to the furrow. The alignment element may include an alignment feature and a positioning feature. The alignment feature may be configured to axially align a longitudinal axis of the supporting device with a longitudinal axis of the seed tube. The positioning feature may be configured to position the furrow device at a desired location along a longitudinal dimension of the seed tube.

Abstract: A supporting device for operably connecting a furrow device to a seed tube of a planting unit for planting seeds into a furrow is provided. The supporting device may include a clip configured to engage the furrow device and the seed tube. The clip may be at least partially positioned inside the seed tube. The clip may at least partially engage a top surface of the furrow device.

Abstract: A row unit for an agricultural planter is provided. The row unit may include a body operably coupled to the agricultural planter, a bracket secured to the body, and a chassis pivotably coupled to the bracket. The bracket may include a top wall and opposing sidewalls extending downwardly from the top wall. The chassis may be coupled to the bracket beneath the top wall of the bracket.

Abstract: A debris assembly for use with a mobile agricultural device is provided. The debris assembly may include a debris member and an attachment bracket. The debris member may substantially prevent debris from accumulating on the disc of the mobile agricultural device. The debris member may be adjustable as a single component relative to the disc to accommodate various soil conditions. The debris member may be removable from the attachment bracket.

Abstract: A folding shed may include a roof with a first roof section pivotally connected to a first sidewall and a second roof section pivotally connected to a second sidewall. The folding shed may further include foldable first and second end walls, each pivotally connected to the first and second sidewalls. The folding shed may be transformed from an operation to a storage configuration by outwardly pivoting the first and second roof sections until the exterior surface of each roof section approximately abuts the exterior surface of the sidewall to which it is connected and inwardly moving foldable end walls until the interior surfaces of the sidewalls approximately abut the interior surfaces of the end walls. The folding shed may optionally include multiple wheels for facilitating transport of the shed.

Abstract: A seeding follower isolation device may include a forming bar connection portion, a seeding follower support portion, and an extension portion. The forming bar connection portion may be configured for secured attachment to a forming bar in a leading position relative to a seed tube of a planting unit. The seeding follower support portion may be configured to adjustably and removably support a seeding follower in an aft position relative to a seed tube. The extension portion may extend between the forming bar connection portion and the seeding follower support portion. The seeding follower isolation device does not contact a seed tube so that a seeding follower joined to the seeding follower isolation device is isolated from the seed tube.
