Abstract: A door handle assembly includes a door operator having an operator portion and a shank extending from the operator portion. The door handle assembly also includes a housing with a base portion for mounting to the door and a bearing portion extending from the base portion. The housing houses a portion of a spindle that extends outwardly from the bearing portion to accept the shank of the door operator. The connections of the door operator with the spindle and the spindle to the housing are configured to reduce wobble in the door handle assembly.
