  • Patent number: 5336296
Abstract: The proposed method is characterized in that the liquid bath is constituted by the melt of low carbon steel and molten slag. Oxidation and reducing zones are created through which, along a closed path on the surface of the molten low-carbon steel, is circulated the molten slag, into which are blown powder slag materials which are melted with the heat of a fuel oxygen torch immersed into the melt. The melting is carried out in a melting reservoir shaped as a closed annular chamber (1) provided with partitions (11) hermetically dividing the gas space above the molten slag into oxidation (6) and reducing (7) zones.

  • Patent number: 5109411
Abstract: A cradle mount for mounting a cellular telephone handset cradle in a vehicle. The mount enables the cradle to be selectively and removably positioned at an angular orientation extending through a full 360 degrees, and enables the cradle to be tilted through an angle of approximately 180 degrees. A detachable mounting plate enables the handset to be removed from the mount. One or more elongate, pivotably connected extension bars may be interposed between the base of the mount and the rotatable, detachable mounting plate, so as to enable the mount to be installed at various places in vehicle cabs of different sizes, shapes and dimensions.

  • Patent number: 4113217
Abstract: Apparatus for mounting equipment to a vehicle includes first and second frames adapted for sliding engagement between downwardly extending wing members of the top frame within grooves formed by bends along opposite edges of the bottom frame. A spring locking member attached to the bottom frame is received within an oblong hole in the upper frame in a locked and engaged position, to urge the wing members into engagement with the bent edges of the lower frame. The spring locking member is located within a slot in an upwardly extending portion of the lower frame to constrain it only to upward and downward movement. In the engaged position the locking member prevents movement in orthoginal or transverse directions thereby securing firmly the first and second frames and equipment carried thereby to the vehicle.
