  • Patent number: 4529952
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay comprises a bobbin carrying a coil and having a longitudinal central bore through which an armature extends. A permanent magnet is disposed between the central webs of two generally U-shaped yokes, the legs of the yokes having end portions cooperating with end sections of the armature which project from the central bore of the bobbin. The armature is pivotal about a fulcrum formed near its one end, whereas the other end of the armature carries an actuating card for driving a contact spring disposed at the side, and parallel to, the bobbin. The contact spring is fixed at one end to a first contact terminal and has its other end disposed between two fixed contacts connected to second and third contact terminals. The three contact terminals are disposed along a line generally extending parallel to the bobbin. The coil is connected to two or three coil terminals arranged at the other side of the bobbin along a line which also extends generally parallel to the bobbin.

  • Patent number: 4527855
Abstract: An electrical plug connection having a connection casing and a tubular adapter screwed on to the latter which encloses a space for the wires of the cable which includes a traction relief cable. The traction relief cable is tensionally connected to a traction relief anchor which is braced within the adapter by a ring-shaped support shoulder which reduces the interior diameter of the adapter.

  • Patent number: 4520333
Abstract: In an M.B.B. type relay, a contact spring comprises a pair of flat spring parts integral at the base of the spring and separate at their free ends, each of which cooperates with a fixed contact. An actuating card drives both spring parts in the same direction and has a stepped portion so dimensioned that a first contact formed by one of the spring parts with one of the fixed contacts is closed before the second contact formed by the other spring part with the other fixed contact is opened.

  • Patent number: 4509026
Abstract: A polarized electromagnetic relay of this invention comprises a yoke providing air gaps at four diagonal positions and an H-shaped armature block having four pole contacting portions positioned in the air gaps of the yoke. This yoke comprises two yoke units, each of which is formed with a substantially U-shaped first magnetic member and a permanent magnet installed at one of its poles to the middle on the lower side of the first magnetic member, and a second magnetic member contacted with the other pole of the permanent magnet and providing air gaps between its both ends and the free ends of the first magnetic member.

  • Patent number: 4490701
Abstract: Switchgear consisting of a polarized magnetic drive and a contact apparatus placed thereabove is disclosed. The contact apparatus includes an adjusting slider which is movable to actuate bridge contacts and is operably connected to return springs which urge it to a neutral position. To obtain two or three stable positions of the adjusting slide without constructional modifications of the switchgear, the coil form for the magnetic drive is divided into two chambers which are spaced apart, are arranged side by side, and accommodate two coil windings. Between the coil forms and symmetrical to the longitudinal axis of the coil form is connected to a permanent magnet arrangement which is polarized at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the coil form and has a central through-port for a central armature.

  • Patent number: 4471179
Abstract: A quick-break snap switch having an activating plunger which, when depressed, establishes an operative connection with a return spring and causes the charging of a spring force accumulator. A ferromagnetic anchor is mounted pivotable about an axis running at right angles to the direction of the plunger activation. The anchor forms the jump member and is a component of a magnetic clamp arrangement containing a permanent magnet. The anchor activates at least one movable contact. The jumping action is initiated in both switching directions by the creation of an air gap between the anchor and its respective abutting surface in the magnet clamp. The magnetic clamp arrangement contains at least one yoke by means of which a magnetic circuit is closed in both positions of the anchor.

  • Patent number: 4453195
Abstract: A modular relay incorporated in a plugable element is disclosed. In accordance with the preferred embodiment, the relay is of the bistable type, and in response to actuation, is caused to switch state for a predetermined period of time, thus acting as a monostable device. Structure is disclosed for insuring that the state of the relay is known prior to actuation. A particularly advantageous mounting structure is incorporated within the relay comprising multi-step mounting feet. The energizing circuit in accordance with the invention is disposed within the plug socket.

  • Patent number: 4369482
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay adapted to be driven by a.c. voltage includes two windings formed by two wires wound together, each winding having its ends connected through diodes to a respective terminal of the a.c. voltage source. The diodes are connected to each terminal with opposite forward directions so that the magnetic fluxes generated by the two windings have the same direction irrespective of the polarity of the a.c. voltage. The capacity existing between the two windings acts as a reactance for limiting the exciting current without consuming active energy.
