    Abstract: A recording medium which can prevent a failure of the recording medium to be fed or carried in a printer without sacrificing the glossiness is disclosed. Addition of a mixture of a spherical silica with a nonspherical silica to a gloss surface layer of a recording medium realizes good glossiness with good feedability and carriability in a printer.
