  • Patent number: 6727897
Abstract: A selector pen for touch screen includes a barrel having a light emitter mounted therein to be turned on or off through turning of a switch rotatably connected to a rear end of the barrel. The switch includes a base defining a non-circular insertion hole, a movable rod being fixedly received in the insertion hole of the movable rod and having an inclined top formed into a spiral guide surface, and a cap being rotatably covered onto the base and having an internal projection. When the cap is turned, the projection slides along the spiral guide surface to gradually depress the movable rod for the same to electrically make the light emitter. The switch has simplified structure and the spiral guide surface defines a definite range of turning for the cap.

  • Patent number: 6424302
Abstract: A simplified dual-frequency antenna for mobile phone includes an integrally stamped thin metal conductor to function as a frequency-control structure of the antenna. An upper end of the stamped thin metal conductor is a curved wave coil and a lower end thereof is an elongated contact head. The curved wave coil includes horizontal and vertical wave segments adapted to two different frequencies of 900 MHz and 1800 MHz, respectively. A cover encloses the curved wave coil to protect the coil against impact and deformation. The contact head has a stop ring mounted around a lower portion thereof and adapted to tightly fit in a lower opening of the cover. The stop ring is integrally provided at a predetermined distance below it with a bolt. By screwing the bolt into an antenna jack on a mobile phone, the antenna is removably connected to the mobile phone with a lower end of the contact head contacting with a conductive leaf spring in the mobile phone, enabling the mobile phone to receive signals.

  • Publication number: 20020075669
Abstract: An illumination device for a notebook computer comprises a base, a support arm, and a light body. The base is flat with the front end having a size corresponding to a PCMCIA interface slot in the notebook computer. An electricity fetching plug connector is provided at the front end with an electric wire extended in the base. The plug connector is corresponding to a power source terminal in the PCMCIA interface slot of the notebook computer. The support arm has an end thereof provides a pivot joint attached to the upper side of the base for being able to performing angular movement upward and downward. The other end of the support arm provides a support joint. The light body has a lamp shield connecting with the support joint and at least an illuminator is disposed under the lamp shield. The illuminator provides an electric wire to connect with the preceding electric wire in the base.

Abstract: A dual-frequency antenna for mobile phone includes an integrally stamped thin metal conductor to function as a frequency-control structure of the antenna. An upper end of the stamped thin metal conductor is a curved wave coil and a lower end thereof is a connector having two hooks. The curved wave coil includes horizontal and vertical wave segments adapted to two different frequencies of 900 MHz and 1800 MHz, respectively. A cover encloses the curved wave coil to protect the coil against impact and deformation. The connector is adapted to insert into an antenna jack on a mobile phone to contact with a conductive leaf spring in the mobile phone, and the two hooks of the connector are adapted to firmly hold the whole antenna to the mobile phone.

  • Patent number: 6292151
Abstract: An antenna for mobile phone mainly includes a low-profile multi-layered circuit board mounted on a base and protectively covered with a light-transmissible hood fitted around the base. The low-profile multi-layered circuit board is provided at a reverse side with a printed antenna and at a front side with a half-wave voltage-doubling circuit and a light-emitting element. A power input of the half-wave voltage-doubling circuit is replaced with a printed inductance for inducing an alternating voltage and generating a resonance to eliminate a capacitive reactance in a diode included in the circuit. The diode rectifies the induced alternating voltage to a direct voltage for driving the light-emitting element to emit lights.
