Publication number: 20070122286Abstract: The present invention relates to novel fan blade of a ceiling fan, wherein whole or partial perimeter of the blades was designed to project outwardly, for example, the cross section of the outwardly perimeter of the fan blade can be presented in a shape of circular arc, oval, taper with circular arc, obliquity with circular arc, truncated taper, truncated oblique or taper with circular arc in which two sides of the projecting base have a raised bench. A comparison test showed that, the rotational speed and air volume of the novel fan blade according to the present invention is 15-24% and 5-10% greater than those of the traditional fan blades respectively, therefore resulting in saving of materials and energy.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 8, 2006Publication date: May 31, 2007Applicant: SHELL ELECTRIC MFG. Patent number: 6484350Abstract: A bagless canister vacuum cleaner having a chasse, an air blower and a dust extraction and collection unit is provided. The dust extraction and collection unit has an easily removable inlet chamber and an easily removable outlet chamber. The inlet chamber is substantially cylindrical, and the outlet chamber is disposed concentrically within the upper portion of the inlet chamber. Duct work within the chasse conducts air from the air inlet and into the inlet chamber in tangential fashion, such that air swirls about the inside walls of the inlet chamber. Air within the inlet chamber is then allowed to escape from the inlet chamber into the outlet chamber via a plurality of small holes disposed in the side walls of the outlet chamber. Air within the outlet chamber is exhausted to the blower via a top wall opening in the outlet chamber.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2001Date of Patent: November 26, 2002Assignee: Shell Electric MFG. Patent number: 5860788Abstract: A fan assembly includes a circular first array of first fan blades; a first primary ring member supportively connecting inner extremities of the first blades about a fan axis, respective end extremities of at least a majority of the first blades defining inside and outside diameters of the array, the first blades being oriented for producing a primary axial fluid flow between the inside and outside diameters in response to rotation of the first ring member, the first ring member extending between the inside and outside diameters. A second primary ring member connects outer extremities of the first blades, the first blades in combination with the first ring member defining a generally circular opening about the fan axis.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 1996Date of Patent: January 19, 1999Assignee: Shell Electric Mfg.
