Abstract: A shock and water resistant housing for a wearable device includes a first housing and a second housing assembled with the first housing, the first housing includes a first sleeve and a second sleeve contained in the first sleeve and the second housing includes a cover and a sealing ring embedded and fixed in the cover. The sealing ring is disposed on a junction of the first housing and the second housing for sealing the first housing and the second housing. A wearable electronic device using the housing is also provided.

Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a battery, a central processing unit (CPU), and voltage converting circuit. The battery includes an erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) and a signal terminal connected to the EPROM. The CPU includes a read/write control terminal. The voltage converting circuit includes a first power terminal connected to a first power supply, a second power terminal connected to a second power supply, a first port connected to the read/write control terminal through a 1-wire bus, and a second port connected to the signal terminal.

Abstract: A manufacturing method for manufacturing a protective case, includes steps: a reflective film is prepared; a first filter film, a second filter film, and a third filter film of a color filter film, and then a decorative film are laminated on the reflective film in sequence to form a multilayer film structure; and a plurality of couples of relative positions of opposite surfaces of the multilayer film structure are processed via a bidirectional processing machine, thereby forming a plurality of light transmission openings penetrating the reflective film and the decorative film and further penetrating at least one or zero of first filter film, the second filter film, and the third filter film. A rear plate including the plurality of light transmission openings, the reflective film, the color filter film, and the decorative film is formed accordingly.

Abstract: In a method for unlocking an electronic device with a touch screen and a distance sensor, a triggering signal to unlock the electronic device is received. Objects within a predetermined distance of the distance sensor is determined. The touch screen is activated to display an unlocking area if no object is detected within the predetermined distance of the distance sensor. Touch signals are received from the unlocking area to determine whether an unlocking operation is performed. A time duration that the touch screen has been activated is calculated to determine whether the unlocking operation is performed within a preset time period from activation of the touch screen. The electronic device is unlocked if the unlocking operation is performed within a preset time period from activation of the touch screen, and a predetermined application is executed when the electronic device is unlocked.
