  • Patent number: 11725314
Abstract: Pattern data for at least two sizes are converted to knit data, regarding knitted products to be graded. Regarding the knit data for at least two sizes, characteristic points specifying shapes of the knitted products and intermediate shapes specifying shapes of the knitted products between the characteristic points are generated. By interpolating or extrapolating the characteristic points and the intermediate shapes, according to a desired size of the knitted products, characteristic points and intermediate shapes for the desired size are generated. Closed loops are generated by connecting the characteristic points and the intermediate shapes, and knit data for the desired size is generated by allocating knitted stitches within patterns specified by the closed loops. Without pattern data for intermediate sizes, knit data for the intermediate sizes are generated from the two size knit data.

  • Patent number: 10745834
Abstract: Footwear includes an inner knitted fabric (5) and an outer knitted fabric (4) that are connected by a stitch row at a top line (6). In the footwear, wale directions of the inner knitted fabric and the outer knitted fabric are different, and/or, the outer knitted fabric is provided with a portion made of a knitted structure (50) with holes, and the inner knitted fabric arranged on the inner side of that portion is made of a knitted structure (60) whose stretchability is lower than that of another portion of the inner knitted fabric. A difference in stretchability between the vertical and horizontal directions of the footwear provided with a double layer knitted fabric is reduced, or a difference in stretchability depending on the position in the footwear is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20200233994
Abstract: The virtual shape of knit product comprising plural parts and mutually divided in the knit data is simulated. The connection information regarding how said parts are mutually connected is obtained based upon the knit data or the pattern data of the knit product, and the plural parts are mutually based upon the obtained connection information. The virtual shape of the knit product is deformed by deforming the plural parts according to the forces acting on the plural parts. At least one of the plural parts is stretched automatically or according to at least an instruction by a user, and then, the virtual shape of the knit product is re-deformed to a natural shape by re-deforming the plural parts according to the forces acting on the plural parts. Then, stitches are allocated within the plural parts, and the allocation of the stitches is smoothed within the plural parts.

  • Patent number: 10145041
Abstract: A method for knitting a shoe upper capable of forming a new stretch preventing section different from a conventional stretch preventing section, and a shoe upper obtained through such knitting method are provided. The shoe upper including a base knitted fabric portion (1F) that covers a foot of a wearer is knitted. In the knitting, a stretch preventing section (20) configured by a knitted fabric of a plain structure is knitted, where one end in a wale direction is connected to the base knitted fabric portion (1F) and another end in the wale direction is not connected to the base knitted fabric portion (1F). The stretch preventing section (20) in which one end is fixed and the other end is not fixed is curled to a tubular shape. The curled stretch preventing section (20) is thicker than the other portions, thus suppressing the stretch of the shoe upper.
