  • Publication number: 20130053124
Abstract: A gaming machine comprises a display and a game control to control images of symbols to be displayed on the display. Symbols are stored for positioning in an array. The symbols include game-specific standard symbols and bonus symbols and are organized in a predetermined mix and number to define a bonusing scheme for filling positions of the array. The game control randomly selects portions of the array for displaying images of the symbols in a matrix format on the display during a play of the game, and associates symbols within paylines of the matrix to provide play outcomes in accordance with the bonusing scheme and a paytable prescribed for the particular game. The game control is configured to provide play options individually selectable by a player before a play. Each play option has a prescribed set of symbols and each set is designed with a predetermined bonusing scheme.

  • Publication number: 20120322529
Abstract: A method of operating an enhanced game of roulette is provided. The method includes receiving one or more selections and player-funded wagers on possible roulette game outcomes from a player. An actual roulette game outcome is then determined. The determined outcome then determines whether the player is to be awarded any winnings and, if so, any determined winnings are awarded to the player. The method further includes determining if a trigger event has occurred. If a trigger event has occurred, then one or more subsequent games of roulette are provided to the player. Each subsequent game does not require any player-funded wagers from the player. In each subsequent game, a roulette game outcome is determined for the subsequent game. A determination is made as to whether the player is to be awarded any bonus award based upon the roulette game outcome for the subsequent game. A bonus award is determined and, if any bonus award is determined to be awarded, then the bonus award is awarded to the player.

  • Publication number: 20120157192
Abstract: A method for providing an award feature on a gaming machine is provided. The method includes providing a sequential series of games, each game producing a game outcome which can be a winning or losing outcome. A winning outcome results in an award value to be added to a player's award total. The highest single award value is determined from all award values resulting from all the games of the series of games. Prior to adding the highest single award value to the player's award total, a multiplier is applied to the highest single award value to obtain a multiplied value. The multiplied value is added to the player's award total in place of the highest award value.
