Patents Assigned to Shur-Lok International S.A.
  • Patent number: 5037258
Abstract: The device comprises a nut (4) floatingly housed in a seat made in a barrel (3) of partially cylindrical form and provided with a radial through-hole (10) emerging in the seat and permitting the passage, with play, of the threaded rod of a screw (6) intended to interact with the said nut for the assembly of two parts (1, 2). The bearing surfaces opposite the seat and the nut (4) are provided so as to form a pivot joint for taking up any angular offset between the axis (13) of the screw (6) and the axis (14) of the through-hole (10) of the barrel. On its periphery, the nut (4) is provided with means (23) for immobilization in rotation relative to its seat in the barrel (3). The device also comprises means (5) for retaining the nut (4) on the barrel as well as a pair of washers (7, 8) for compensating for a variation in thickness.

  • Patent number: 4692078
Abstract: The device has a screwthreaded collar 9 constituting a brake and trapped in a cavity 5 of a nut 2 with respect to which it is connected to rotate and axially movable in the cavity between an internally first position in which its screwthread 12 is in phase with the screwthread 3 of the nut and a second position in which the screwthreads are no longer in phase. The collar has splines 13 in its screwthread adapted to cooperate with splines in the screwthread 34 of a shaft 18 on which the nut is screwed so as to be immobilized in rotation on this shaft when the screwthreads of the collar 9 and the nut 2 are no longer in phase. For mounting the nut device, a tool is provided which comprises a hollow sleeve 20 defining a cavity adapted to receive the nut 2, an arrangement 29 for retaining the nut in a resilient manner and an arrangement 32 for maintaining the collar 9 in the first position at the inner end of the cavity 5 in opposition to the action of the second ring 15 when the nut is retained in the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 4296586
Abstract: The device comprises a tubular unit adapted to be placed in an opening formed in the honeycombed panel. A fastening member such as a screw, pin or other member, extends therethrough. The tubular unit comprises a sleeve which is placed in the opening of the panel and is connected to the skins of the latter by plates which are adhered to the outer surfaces of the panel. The plates ensure the transmission of in particular the transverse forces exerted on the device to the skins of the panel. The fastening device is intended in particular to be employed in panels constituting elements of the fuselage of aircraft and in particular the floors of the cabins.

  • Patent number: 4252167
Abstract: The device comprises in combination a screwthreaded block and a screw which are hollow and have screwthreads of opposite direction. These screwthreads cooperate with screwthreads of respectively corresponding direction formed in the inner wall of the tapped hole. There are provided means for stopping the block, and means for preventing rotation between the block and the screw.

  • Patent number: 4014627
Abstract: In this compressor stator having a housing in one piece a circumferential groove having a radially inner part of reduced width is formed for each stage in the wall of the cavity of the housing and communicates with the exterior of the housing by way of at least one radial opening having sufficient size to provide a passage for a vane base. The vane bases are disposed in a contiguous fashion in the groove and are radially supported by said inner part of the latter. A chain surrounds all the bases and bears radially against each one thereof.
