  • Patent number: 10839356
Abstract: The condition of a technical installation is automatically monitored. A measured value of at least one component of the installation is sensed by at least one sensor device on the installation, and the at least one measured value is used, in a data processing arrangement specific to the installation, for determining a current operating state of the installation. By way of the data processing arrangement, including component-specific aging functions, a future chronological course of the operating condition is determined from the current operating condition, and a maintenance interval for the installation is adjusted on the basis of the future chronological course of the operating condition, in order to determine a next maintenance date of the installation. A corresponding arrangement and a computer program product for condition monitoring are also described.

  • Patent number: 9256671
Abstract: A semantic multilayer network is established, wherein a first layer in said semantic multilayer network including tag annotations, and a second layer in said semantic multilayer network including data structured by an ontology, are established and wherein the first layer and the second layer are connected. Thus, connecting of two entirely different worlds of the dynamic, emergent “social tagging” (e.g., web applications like Web 2.0) and of the regular “ontology engineering” (e.g. Semantic Web) data, dynamic data tag annotations and ontology, seen as too opposed or conflictive, therefore being treated separately and independently so far, becomes possible. Here, by utilizing advantages of both worlds, computer aided handling of large amounts of data, including e.g. processing, management, or querying of data, becomes considerably efficient and effective, wherein said data may be distributed in different areas, locations, or systems.

  • Patent number: 8363916
Abstract: At least one embodiment of the invention relates to a method for producing result images of an examination object, in the case of which a number of magnetic resonance images, determined by a magnetic resonance recording device, of the examination object are acquired, and radionuclide emission tomography image data, determined by a radionuclide emission tomography recording device, of the examination object are acquired. In at least one embodiment, the magnetic resonance images for determining contours of a target structure are then segmented, and the contours of the target structure are visualized in common with at least the radionuclide emission tomography image data that are assigned to picture elements located inside the target structure, and/or are stored for a later visualization. Moreover, a corresponding image processing system and an imaging system having such an image processing system are described in at least one embodiment.

  • Patent number: 7670064
Abstract: An optical module has a lens holder with a lens assembly of, for example, three lenses and a diaphragm. The lenses and the optional diaphragm are unequivocally oriented by the geometrical form thereof such that no other optical adjustment is required. The optical module has a specially embodied circuit carrier with a thin region and a thick region that holds the thin, relatively sensitive region as in a frame, the thin region preferably carrying a semiconductor element. Along with the particularly low tolerances between the semiconductor element and the lens unit, the invention advantageously enables a more reliable assembly (e.g. soldering, gluing, etc.) of a semiconductor element, for example in flip-chip mounting technology, on a thin and thus relatively stable, flat plane, than comparable assembly processes of components on exclusively flexible circuit carriers. The optical module is particularly suitable for interior and exterior applications on motor vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20080272727
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining the chance of a disturbance-free operation of a frequency converter (2) connected to a feeding network (18). According to the invention, during the operation of said frequency converter (2), an intermediate circuit voltage (UZK) is continuously measured and a network-side intermediate circuit current (iZKmains) is continuously determined; these measuring quantities are compared with pre-determined operating values of the frequency converter (2), and quantities which are higher or lower than said values are respectively stored; and the frequency (Hij) of said higher and lower measuring quantities is determined and converted into a characteristic number for the quality of the feeding network (18). As said characteristic number decreases, the chance of a disturbance-free operation of the frequency converter (2) increases.

  • Patent number: 7334526
Abstract: A method is for securing a laminated core, used to accommodate the stator winding of a linear motor, to a track. In particular, the track is for a magnetic levitation transport system. Provision is made for an installation module to be connected to the track and to have at least one pair of holes then aligned transversely with respect to the direction of travel in parallel, uncovered side walls. The laminated core, in which there is at least one channel, is then inserted into the installation module in a manner held by a clamping device until the at least one channel in the laminated core forms a continuous opening with the at least one pair of holes. A tube is then pushed into this opening and fixed there. The clamping device is then removed.

  • Patent number: 6178124
Abstract: The integrated memory has memory cells which are combined to form individually addressable standard units, and one or more redundant units for replacing one of the standard units on an address basis. The memory also has a self-test unit for performing a function test on the memory cells and for performing an analysis as to which of the standard units is to be replaced by a respective redundant unit. There is also a first memory unit for storing the address, determined by the self-test unit, of the standard unit which is to be replaced by the redundant unit, and a comparison unit connected to an address bus and to outputs of the first memory unit, for comparing an address present on the address bus with the address stored in the first memory unit. The comparison unit activates the redundant unit if a match is recognized. The first memory unit has at least one output which is connected to a corresponding output of the integrated circuit for outputting the respectively stored address.
