Abstract: A heat retaining dish includes a pressure relief mechanism and has a heat retention material capable of being heated by microwave or other thermal radiation in order to maintain any food placed on the dish at an elevated temperature. The heat retention material is capable of accommodating expansion during heating of the device, and when an overpressure condition occurs as a result of inadvertent overheating, the pressure relief mechanism vents the pressure to the ambient environment. The pressure relief mechanism is an integral part of the wall construction of at least one of the portions making up the housing of the device, and deformation due to overpressure directly causes the opening of the pressure relief mechanism as soon as the housing is deformed sufficiently to open a fluid communication path through an aperture in the wall.

Abstract: A bag holder including a main enclosure body for practically enclosing a space shaped and configured to hold bags by their handles, the space being essentially surrounded by the main enclosure body, the main enclosure body having two ends proximate to each other which are separated by a gap and a retractable clip member connected to a first one of the main enclosure body ends and being capable to extend to and engage the second end such that engagement of the clip with the second end completes the enclosure formed by the main enclosure body, wherein the clip member is selectively positioned by the user as to open or close the gap. A method of using the bag is also disclosed.

Abstract: Provided herein is a protective device for use with a variety of objects. The protective device has two sections, each section attached to the other along a first edge. The protective device has a locking mechanism whereby each section is secured to the other in a closed position. The device may also have stoppers on the inner side of each section, the stoppers aligned such that the object is secured when the device is in the closed position.

Abstract: A stirring pitcher which is easy to break down for cleaning and which has a uniquely shaped container that has at its bottom a trough with a contour that matches the contour of the stirrer spoon end. The stirrer includes a handle portion that extends above a container cover, and a stirrer portion which extends below the cover. Preferably the stirrer portion is detachable from the handle portion. The stirrer includes a pivot which is transverse to the longitudinal direction of the container trough, so that pivoting of the spoon about the pivot causes the spoon end to sweep the complete volume adjacent the container bottom.
