Abstract: The present invention provides an integral firearms safety lock that safely provides locking capabilities in a firearm. The integral firearms safety lock ensures that a firearm is unable to fire by a simple manual manipulation of a locking mechanism. Moreover, an integral firearms safety lock is provided that contacts and locks a firing pin safety thereby preventing any unauthorized firing of the firearm.

The voice print and other parameters can be stored in memory or on a separate smart card.
